Today we're going to be taking a look at the replacement weather seal for Ventline Easy Lift Vented Dome Trailer Roof Vents. This unit replaces a worn, damaged, or leaking weather seal. It keeps water from entering between the dome and the base when the vent is closed. It's made in the USA.
It's made from a durable, black, vinyl construction. That vinyl is very strong and durable, feels more like a rubber compound. Just a really nice easy-to-install unit for a replacement part. The open part right there, as you can see, that splits open. That pushes down onto the vent lip, so the seal will push right on.
I do recommend always using some adhesive to get the seal to stay put. A few dots of silicone sealant will work really well with this unit. That's not included, so if you need some you will have to provide that on your own. Installed easily worked well.I have since sold the trailer. I would use this product again and buy from you as well.
The (3) Ventline BVE0127-00 roof vent seals from etrailer were as ordered, expertly packaged and arrived in a timely manner via UPS ground. The roof vent seals are an exact replacement for the original Ventline roof vent seals which were dried out, cracked and leaking air. The new roof vent seals have a mild adhesive where the seal slips over the vent knife-edge so no silicone, contact or weather stripping cement is required for installation. The new roof seals were installed on two year old Ventline Ventadome all-metal galvanized roof vents(V21105P-24) also procured from etrailer. A word of caution concerning this particular installation as after removing the original roof vent seal, the all-metal galvanized vent has a razor-sharp knife edge. Forewarned is forearmed! The trim was about 1” longer than needed and cutting it to fit was easy. My vent now seals tightly. Excellent product.
Better than oem
Does the job without sticking to the plastic vent. Simple to install. Bought two of these a year ago to go with the replacement vents for our motorhome's two bathrooms. I mentioned sticking because the original weather strip would stick to the original vent, so I'd have to climb up on the roof to pry it open. How nice, now, to turn the crank and have the vent open almost effortlessly. Also, never any leaks.

about a year ago,I bought a replacement weather seal for my trailer roof vent and it works great. Easy to install and has not leaked. Colorado weather is very severe and I was very happy with it.

This worked. The light-colored trim for the Ventline vents was too short in height.
This was the only place online that I could find this seal. It's exactly the same as the one I'm replacing and I'm happy with it. Good for another 10 years!
poor replacement for my old gasket, the "legs" that go onto the vent frame are much shorter so I will have to modify so that it doesn't come off or let water through the the little openings on the frame.
Looks thicker than original, has adhesive already in the mounting notch, easy installation!
Not using this as in tended. Instead, I'm ueing it as weather strip in the tour pac on my motorcycle. Its not an exact match but it will work better then the original.
Happy to find the seals. Local dealers would have had to order them at near twice the price.
