Hello, neighbors. I'm Steven here with etrailer.com. Today, we're looking at this Replacement Hardware Kit for the Westin Signature Series 3" and the Platinum Series Round Step Bars. Now, folks, these will replace a damaged or missing hardware for your Westin 3" Round Nerf Bars. They do work with a lot of different Signature Series item numbers, and they also work with a lot of different Platinum Series item numbers. I'll go ahead and throw them on the screen.
That way you have a chance to pause the video, write them down if you need to look them up, but always, always use our fit guide at etrailer.com. Enter your year, make, and model. Make sure you're getting the right parts the first time. So, folks, again, you're gonna get everything here on the table. All the washers, lock washers, nuts, bolts, the different brackets.
Everything's a nice heavy duty steel. (metal clanging) Heavy duty powder coat finish. So, direct replacement from Westin, so you can ensure it's gonna fit those, again, Signature Series 3" and Platinum Series Round Step Bars. Very nice finish on 'em. I'm actually pretty impressed with how good the finish looks on these, really.
A lot of stuff you get, it just kinda, it doesn't look too good, but these actually look really good, so I'm pretty impressed with the powder coat finish they got on here. And again, all the bolts looks like a grade eight, grade five, maybe just because of the color of 'em. But everything's nice, heavy duty. You shouldn't have to worry about corrosion or rust or anything like that. Installation kit worked great ! Unfortunately the 3” chrome tubes are starting to show small specks of rust. I live in the Northeast where a lot of road salt is used in the winter but the tubes are only a couple of years old.
These are a replacement set and a slight revision from the 10yr old originals who had given their all in the northeast winters. Fit just fine. After cleaning up the platinum series step bars and hanging them with the new brackets I only have one problem - I have to wash the rest of the truck now.
Steve Z was very helpful to help us in macking a return of brackets that were incorrect. (Nobodys fault at etrailer just a lack of truck info.) We recieved the correct brackets and will soon install them as soon as warmer weather permits. Many Thanks!!

You mentioned that you needed to cut the brackets to make the bars even. I wanted ro see if you could send a picture? Do you know what model of nerf bars that you have?
