Hello, everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today I'm gonna take a look at the Wheel Masters Tire Pressure Valve Extenders with the 180 degree bend for your rear wheels. This is for a quantity of two extenders. Now these are angled valve extenders. They make it very easy to access the valve stems on your rear tires with the dual wheels. These are sturdy nickel-plated brass stems.
You can see they're bent at a 180 degree angle and they'll screw onto your existing valve stem. Basically that 180 degree bend will place the valve stem in a lot easier to reach spot. Basically, if you notice on those dual wheels usually that inner wheel will have the valve stem pointing towards the center of the vehicle or the trailer. And it's hard to access that valve stem. So when you install these, it'll bring it out to where you could easily access it.
These are a corrosion-resistant, nickel-plated brass construction, makes it long lasting. These will work on both steel and aluminum wheels. And to install it, it's pretty easy. All you have to do is take off the valve cap on your valve stem that's on your wheel. Take this end here, put it on there, twist this, tighten it down, snug it up, so it doesn't leak.
And then right here, you'll have your end cap here that'll replace your existing valve stem cover. So you just remove that and that'll give you easy access to putting air in or checking the air pressure. These parts are made in the USA. Now there are also extenders that are available that offer other angles, like 45 degrees, 90 degrees, and 135 degrees. Those items we do sell separate on our website.
These again are 180 degree bend. But that should do it for the review on the Wheel Masters Tire Pressure Valve Extenders with the 180 degree bend for rear wheels..

did not like the extenders they back off on the nut letting air out need the better one with the clip to hold it in place.
They do function as advertised However I did end up bending the angle so i could use them on my truck i just used 2 wrenches and gently opened up the u shape..
The extension pieces themselves were fortunately made from strong materials because they had to be bent some to fit from the inner dually through the outer dually but the installer was successful at bending them without breaking them and all went well. It was a tense moment but it worked out great. They work perfectly now. I wish the angles of the pieces had been such that no bending had been necessary but fortunately all resolved well.
got the product and it did not work trying to return the product and they are trying to say it cost more to ship it back than produce cost. Will never by from etailer again
These extenders are exactly what I need to be able to check/add air pressure to the outer rear wheels. Made out of nice polished stainless steel. Haven't installed them yet but I'm sure they will do the job.
Here's the reason for on 4 stars. I ordered them based on their size and shape. When I got the order confirmation, the description says' Wheel Masters Tire Pressure Valve Extenders - 180-Degree Bend - Aluminum Rear Wheels - Qty 2 - WM8029180'. Note the description of 'Aluminum Rear Wheels'. I have steel. I went to Wheel Masters website and there wasn't any mention of wheel material. I called etrailer and they weren't exactly sure. When I received the order, the card said use part number xyz for steel wheels. I looked at that number online and no way would it work on my wheels. I called Wheel Masters and asked what was up with this and what was or wasn't on their website. Their technical department told me that as long as I had steel/stainless steel valve stems the part I ordered would work fine.
Just a warning or help.
I needed tire pressure valve extenders for the dual wheels on my motorhome--there is no way for me to get my hands inside the wheels to remove the valve cap, check pressure and add air. I've used braided air hoses in the past but they don't seem to hold up long. These extenders are high quality, fit perfectly and with a drop of loctite won't come loose. There are other on-line vendors, but I use Etrailer because of fast shipping and quality products
Ordered these valve extenders and they make it easy to check air. I ordered another set.Item was shipped just after the order placed. Delivery was very quick.

Valve extenders still working with no air leaks. easy to check pressure and fill air.
bought to check air pressure on rear outer rv tires(aluminum rims) the valve extenders are very well made, a little hard to install due to the wheels being close together , but is well worth the effort. It is very hard to check air pressure on rear rv outer wheels due to stem position this will solve the problem. E trailer stocks quality products,fast delivery without any problems
I did a lot of research about these 180 degree valve stem extensions and found that these got good reviews. Many of the extensions on other sites received poor grades about quality. Well, I made the right choice. These extensions were of great quality. I actually had to change the angle a bit, so I wondered if perhaps I should have ordered the 135 degree extenders. But, no worries. I carefully changed the angle of these puppies a bit, and they are working just fine. I'm glad I found out about etrailer. I'm sure I'll be ordering more from them.

These extenders are junk. Put both on my rv and both leaked air. Took them to my tire dealer and they could not get them to work.
After having these installed on our fire trucks for a year, we have had no problems with any of them. Some of the first ones that i bought from a different supplier were cheap and most of them wouldn't stop leaking or had some type of problem. These ones worked great! Would definitely recommend them.

Seems to be well made and good to bring valve facing out. Used a wrench to tighten the nut to the valve stem.
Very knowledgeable staff at etrailer They made it a point to make sure I understood my purchase!

the 2 extenders with the bend had to be removed. I was unable to check the air pressure in the 2 outside rear tires. Tried several thing including changing the core on the extension. when I removed the extension oon both wheels i was able to check the air pressure and fil the to tire to normal operating psi. I have not replaced them. Not planning to replace them.
Fast, Easy to use and up to speed on tracking. Thanks would buy from again and tell others to do the same.
Worked Great, needed to modify for my use but did the trick.

They do exactly what I wanted them to do. Very pleased with them.
Solved a big issue allowing me to now fill the outside dually tire from the outside. Whew!
They are solid and it’s made in the USA, they’ll last forever. I found out that I need the ones with 135-degree bend, these 2 won’t work for my outer wheel of the dually. I need to return these and order the 135-degree bend.

One Extension piece failed. It appears the inner gasget failed and began to leak air. Schwab was gracious enough to replace it at no cost, as a part of their free tire repair service. They are amazing!
