Hello, neighbors and friends. Steven here with etrailer.com. Folks, today we're looking at a replacement short hook, or the "A" assembly for the Yakima Two Timer or Four Timer bike racks. That's right, folks, so this replaces a lost or damaged short-frame hook for the Yakima Two Timer or the Yakima Four Timer hitch-mounted bike racks. It does pair with the long hook assembly, or the "B" assembly, on the mast, and the "B" assembly, or long hook, is sold separately. If you need the "B" hook, that item number is 8880523.

But again, we're looking at the "A" assembly, or the short hook. It's got the spring-loaded catch here. You simply put it on the mast, then you're ready to go. It attaches inside or to the inside portion arm on the Four Timer rack. It does ratchet down.

Whenever you push it on, you'll hear it clicking, and it's gonna hold the bike tightly in place just like you're used to, and installs on that folding arm of the carrier.
