I’m not sure this was the vendors fault, but this part did not work for my rack. This locking mechanism was too small and ineffective for my roof rack and worthless to me.

These keys are meant to be replacements for the Yakima Rack and Roll trailer. You mentioned that they did not work for your roof rack so I wanted to clarify if you have a Yakima roof rack? It would take different keys if you do.
