Introducing the Yakima Recovery Track Mount. Don't get stuck. Keep your Recovery Tracks within reach so they're easily accessible when you need traction. The durable molded bases are great for rugged travel and a wide range of conditions. With the load capacity of 35 pounds, you can carry up to four recovery tracks. And they'll stay secure with our proven heavy duty straps.
It's designed to mount seamlessly with our truck collections HD bars and sidebars, and most of their T-slot crossbars.The Recovery Track Mount is easy to install. First slide in the thick nut plates. Then loosely attach the base plates to the nut plates, with the included wrench. Set the distance between the inside of your base plates to match your Recovery Track type. Reference the Recovery Track Mount instructions for different types of Recovery Tracks.
Once set, tighten the base plate hardware. Now, insert the HD straps from behind. Then rotate the strap tinder to secure the straps to the mount. Floating is easy too. Thread the loose end of the strap into the buckle, but don't fully tighten yet.
Now insert the Recovery Track through the strap loops. Make sure the crosses of the Recovery Track rest in the cross slots of the mount. Pull the strap ends firmly to tighten. Now get out and take it easy.

They have held the recovery boards for almost 20,000 miles and still going strong.
