Toady we're going to be reviewing the Fat Tire Straps for Yakima TwoTimer and FourTimer Hitch-Mounted Bike Racks, part number Y02470. The extra long ratcheting straps allow you to carry one fat tire bike on your Yakima TwoTimer, which we have her, part number Y02468 or on you Yakima FourTimer, part number Y02469. All you'll need to do is replace your front and rear wheel straps to accommodate for your fat tire bike. Our fat tire straps are going to fit around most of your fat tire bikes. Now, we do have a 4.6 here today and if we head around back, you can see we still have a little bit of excess there. The straps come in a quantity of 2 and have a limited lifetime warranty. Now that we've gone over some features, we'll show you how to get it installed.
We already have the passenger side done since it's the same exact way, we'll just show you on the driver's side. Now, the first thing we're going to do is release the strap and then we'll come to the front here and push down this center tab and then we're going to push on our strap until it slides through and then we can pull it out on the other end. We're going to feed our fat tire strap through on the outside slot and pull up until that clicks into place there. We'll then feed our strap through and secure it in place. Now we can load up our bike.

I already had them on 2 of the 4 positions and ordered these will finish out the rack. Great OE product, great price and fast shipping!
Worked on another bike yakama rack I had I use 88 mm disc. Wheel and needed a longer strap got here on time thanks guys
Except for the wait time, they fit perfectly and are now ready to fit the new bike.
works perfect on my yakima rack for my fat tire bike. need to be aware that the standard yakima straps have "tracks" that go in different directions and can be racheted from either side. these replaces are "one way." just need to be aware of that so you don't cut the end off like i did and try to use it like the standard yakima straps. fortunately, my shipment was a pack of 2, and i only needed one, so it all worked out.

These straps were just what I needed for my fat bike. I've had Surly, Salsa, and Trek fat bikes loaded up on my rack and it has done a great job every time. These straps are solid and have held up over the past year that I've owned them, no signs of weathering.
Paul T - 12/20/2017Great/timely service and user-friendly website: I recently bought a Yakima Two-Timer hitch mount bike rack to transport two fat-tire bikes from a local store. But unfortunately the tire straps that come with the rack are not long enough to secure the oversized tires and accessory "Fat Straps" have to be purchased. After contacting all my local sports stores that carry Yakima products to no avail and discovering they were out-of-stock on the Yakima website, e-trailer came to the rescue!
Amended my bike rack with these longer stronger wider straps to accommodate my fat tire bike. Work well.

I've bought those for my yakmia Highroller roof racks with the hope that will fit. They did! Now i can mount my Specilized Fatboy with 4.6 " tires without using additional straps and cords! Great service from etrailer!!
I'm using it on the rear of a Front Loader with a 27.5+ & 3" tire and it's a little long and touches the roof. There's a 12.5" strap available on etrailer for the front loader that I bought from etrailer prior to this, and fit well, but it snapped when I was opening in 20 degree weather; hopefully this will hold up better. With a two pack I'll have a backup if it does break.
Performed as expected, I use them for fat tire bike on my Yakima tray, I had to drill out the front rivets to remove the plastic wheel piece so the front wheel would fit.
Just bought these to extend the length of the OEM straps on another brand bike rack so I could use it with a fat tire bike. They work perfectly and etrailer ship time was very fast.
Communication was great with the folks @ etrailer - the product I ordered was delayed from the manufacturer and they let me know right away. As soon as the product was available, they shipped it to me. Good service.
