Hello Steven with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at this replacement cradle and strap for your Yakima OnRamp Electric Bike Racks. Now this is gonna be one replacement cradle and strap for the Yakima OnRamp and it's gonna install on the upright post of your OnRamp. Now because this is a genuine Yakima part, you can ensure that it's gonna fit your Yakima rack with no problems whatsoever. Comes with a nice plastic nut here. Simple to use, nice steel construction on the main parts here.
And then the cradle itself is a nice hard plastic. It's got the foam rubber dampener here, or you know, soft pad there to secure everything. And it's got the nice retention button here that's gonna let you loosen and or then tighten that strap, and it's very simple to use, very simple design. Replacement for a broken bike rack clamp. Works same as original.

Oh, I'm soo happy! This part was somehow lost from the Yakima On-Ramp e-bike rack in 2021. A replacement was NOWHERE to be found , even after extensive searching in person and on-line. Supply chain issues. The jury-rigged rack was useable, but a royal pain to set up. Finally, I got a message from etrailer in October '21, that they expected the part to become available June '22. I ordered it, and Lo, they did not lose the order or forget, but contacted me in May '22 that it was available to ship. And here it is! Our $ 700.- rack is useable again. Great customer service! Thank you!!
