Michael: Hi, there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a quick look at the Yakima replacement T-slot mounting hardware. This is going to replace the mounting hardware that originally came with your Yakimo LoadStops. This will replace damaged hardware so that you can get back to enjoying your LoadStops, securing your heavy loads, and giving you nice tie-down points to connect to to make sure that everything that you are carrying is going to be secured.This kit is going to come with four of these knobs and all of the necessary hardware so that you can easily loosen your LoadStops, slide them to accommodate different sized loads, and then tighten them back down. So you might not need all four at the same time, you might just need one or two, but having the extras will be nice to have on hand in case you do need them down the road.These are Yakima products, so you can trust it's going to work with your LoadStops.
You're not going to kind of have to worry about compatibility issues or anything like that. So I think these are going to be a great option for you if you are needing replacement knobs and hardware for your LoadStops.That's going to complete our look for today. Replaces the T-slot mounting hardware for your Yakima LoadStop (8001161).I bought this to replace the knob for my Yakima Topshelf. Yakima doesn’t sell the knob replacement on its own, but the customer service here is excellent. They reached out to Yakima and found out that this kit would fit my needs. It’s pricey since there’s hardware that I didn’t really need, but now I have 4 spare knobs lol.
Looking for the plastic knobs only but could not find them just by themselves. What's nice is you can replace the bolt for a longer one or 8mm nut to tie down other t-slot type of equipment. Makes adjusting stuff secure, quick, and easy.
I wasnt expecting an Oem replacement! No complaints here. It works as it should
Have been looking for a replacement know for a long time after not tightening one down before a long trip and having it vibrate off at some point. This 4-pack is perfect, reasonably priced, and gives me some peace of mind having a few spares in the event I make another boneheaded mistake! Thank you, eTrailer!
