Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this Yakima license plate and taillight kit. This is going to add on to your Yakima StageTwo bike racks to add the taillights and the license plate there. So, because your StageTwo bike racks oftentimes will cover your vehicle's lights, this is going to give those lights to keep your vehicle street legal. It's also going to display your license plate there.
So, this is going to work for your Yakima StageTwo bike racks. The part numbers that you see on the screen there. So, if you have any of those five bike racks, you can trust this is gonna fit right on to your bike rack. Because it is coming directly from Yakima, you're not gonna have to worry about compatibility issues or anything like that. These lights are gonna do a great job of making you visible as you're driving at night, making sure that others can see your running lights there, as well as your left turn signal, and your right turn signal, and your brake lights.
So very, very clear once you have these on. So, no one's confused as to what your intentions are. And you can see, we do also have the license plate light there that's gonna light up your license plate, so that everyone can see and make sure that you are legal going down the road with your bike rack in place. These light bars are LEDs. So, they are going to be very energy efficient, hold up really well for a long time to come.
The bracket system is going to allow you to rotate to keep the taillights and license plate visible. Even if you have the rack folded up, you can tilt them back so that it'll still be visible. And then when you have your rack down, you can tilt them to the orientation that I have them here. Now, I've got this clamped onto this block for display, so I can't show you that turning system, but they do have this bolt that will be on the back slot here that you can loosen, and then tilt, and then tighten back down again. So very, very easy to do.
This is just a simple four-flat connection, and that will route through your bike rack's spine. And so, it's not gonna be dangling loose or anything like that. It's going to be very easy to get hooked up into your vehicle's four-way flat connector there, so that everything is going to operate just like a trailer's lights would. And it will, of course, secure your license plate in place so that, I just have this one here kind of freely standing, but it will allow you to mount your license plate so that it will stay on there while you're going down the road. So overall, a really nice option here to help to make sure that your lights are gonna be visible as you're taking your Yakima StageTwo bike rack on your vehicle. And that completes our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching..
