Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this replacement boat saddle for the Yakima Showdown Kayak or standup paddleboard carrier. Now this part number here is replacing one boat saddle in the Yakima Showdown Kayak or standup paddleboard carrier. Now, that carrier we do sell separately. It's part number Y0481 and I just wanted to pop up an insert to show you there's that carrier and you can see it does come with four saddles, originally included when you buy the carrier. This part here that I'm talking about is for one replacement.

Basically the kayak or the standup paddle board will sit on these saddles when they're installed on your carrier and the saddle will basically install onto the track of the carrier and it allows you to slide the saddle to adjust it for the size of the kayak or standup paddle board you're gonna be transporting. This is a durable plastic construction. You can see it even includes the metal rivet here. That's where your tie down strap will go through there when you go to tie it down. And again, this part is for one saddle.
