This replacement mounting bracket kit includes one universal mounting bracket for the Yakima FatCat 4 or FatCat 6 ski and snowboard carrier. Universal mounting hardware allows carrier to accommodate different-sized crossbars.by: AW01/23/2016
This was a replacement for one of the Yakima roof ski rack mounts that broke. It does a great job for holding onto cross bars. But it is a little difficult and time consuming to put them on the car's cross bars. Yakima's has designed a new strap style that looks easier to put on.

My original brackets somehow ripped off when a dealership ran my car through an automatic wash. Dont know how that was possible since these are very high quality but it happened. Ordered these and shipped super fast. Installed quickly and now my snowboard rack is back on. PProblem solved. Excellent customer service from etrailers as well.

I moved and misplaced the parts for my ski rack. Now it is the season and I can't carry skis on top of my vehicle. etrailer had exactly what I wanted. Ordering was easy and they let me know when it was shipped. Package arrived quickly.

Great to find this part for an older ski rack at a reasonable price. The clamp holds well, but I lost one of the square nuts, and the other was starting to get rusty anyway, so starting with new.

The end bolts need HAND TIGHTENING WHEELS or wing nuts.

The product is working out fine, but I have had the product for awhile. I had just ordered a replacement mount.
