Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Replacement Mounting Feet for your Yakima FatCat 4, or your Yakima FatCat Evo 6. So if you're like me and you misplace things quite often, or they just break on you unexpectedly. Well, etrailer's got a bunch of different replacement parts. So the one we're looking at today is just the whole entire foot assembly. So this isn't gonna be for the round bars or anything like that. It's just gonna be the exact piece that comes with your Yakima FatCat.
And this is just gonna be for all your bars, basically. So what we're going to get with this is, of course the foot, but also this little knob as well. So you don't have to grab those separately, which is kinda nice. So you know how it works and you've had it before. Basically it comes with both of those pieces, comes with the little adjustment knob.
Again, it's the exact same thing that came in the box to start. At the end of the day, there's not really a whole lot to really say about this, just wanna letting you guys know that if you need a replacement, we have it. And this is gonna work just like the other one that came with the kit. So that being said, if you do have other replacement parts or other parts that you need replaced, we have some as well, just go to the related part section of the webpage, and that will list out all the replacement parts that we have available for this thing. So, you lose even more stuff, like I usually do, we have it for you here at etrailer.

Customer service was spot on. the parts were to upgrade my old cat6 brackets to acuminate the newer style bars.I like the clips that go inside the cat6, vs. the old bolts. the belt option is nice, we see if i can get them tight enough to hold the racks on. Still playing around with that.

Shipping was extremely fast, took only a couple of days and already received the product. Mount was very easy to put on after taking my ski rack through a car wash, oops.

Really works well, better than expected. Super simple install, and fit factory Honda aero crossbars perfectly. Mounts the FatCat Ski Carrier securely and lower to the roof for less wind noise and easier loading/unloading.

I have Yakima round cross bars/roof racks on my Subaru. I bought these so I can take my Yakima fatcat snowboard racks and put them on my Jeep that have the Thule AeroBlade Load Bars. The Yakima fatcats fit perfect. Cheap fix in order to move snowboard racks from one roof rack system to the other. Easy to install.

Perfect replacement part. Note that the prior one broke through user error - drove into garage with rack on top of SUV - not due to a Yakima quality issue. The part took a few weeks to arrive due to backorder, but etrailer proactively notified me of the status several times & even offered to ship a compatible (but not exact match) part so I didn't have to wait; I decided to hold off to get exact match. Great customer service!!!

I was able to replace the feet on my 2012 Yakima fatcat6. The old style with the bolted clamps. These worked out great! Once you adjust the length of the straps (first time only), taking them on and off is a breeze. No more struggling to with tools. Everything snaps into place very quickly. Highly recommend.

Perfect! I have an older Fat Cat 6 model bought off of an auction site and it had some rusted bolts on the old mounts. This replacement fit beautifully and it was like getting a brand new rack. Quick delivery to boot!
