The item was shipped to me very quickly and it was priced reasonably. They work well with my Load Warrior Cargo basket brackets. They are slightly longer than the black mounting bolts that came with my cargo basket, but they still work fine. They also fit my locking brackets well.
I used this hardware for mounting an older Yakima cargo box to 1-1/2" x 1-1/2" cross bars on a ladder rack. The threads are 1/4"-20 and 3" long. These appear to be stainless steel too...but not 100% sure. Worked great for my application.
I mean these are just bolts, so how hard can this be, but given that they are the correct size and have been used for one year now... they are actually holding up better than the stock Yakima hardware (no surface rust).
Moreover, the customer service at etrailer has been great. Questions answered very timely and they follow up with my experience with them. I will definitely do business with etrailer again!
Decided to renovate my aging Yakima Rocketbox and replaced all the mounting bolts with these. A bit longer than the originals, but not a problem at all. Works much better now. Etrailer staff (Renee) was awesome when I called to make sure these would work. They even double checked by contacting Yakima while I was on hold.
I wanted to replace the 8 bolts on my old Yakima Rocketbox (probably 10 yrs old) which connect it to the round bars. This item is not *exactly* the same as the original bolts, but the threads match and the pieces all work fine. The old bolts are not in horrible condition, but if one were to break, it could be disastrous, so this is a great upgrade.
Needed slightly longer bolts to accommodate my ancient Yakima rocket box for mounting on some new HD bars which are thicker than the original round bars. These bolts are ~3/4" longer and worked perfectly.
These Yakima replacement bolts were just what I needed to make my Rocket Box useable again. Shipping was quick and the entire process was simple from beginning to end.
Installed easily to replace the older (bent) Yakima bolts, and a year later they are holding up well.
