I bought this to attach a 1.25” tongue on a 15 yr old Yakima ROC to a 2” hitch (I bought an adapter for the tongue - but the old bolt was then too short). The longer bolt is actually longer than I needed, but works just fine.

The only reason you might want to stick with the anti-rattle bolt for your BigHorn # Y8780018 is that I can see not using the actual equipment as voiding the warranty if something was to happen to the rack. Especially when it comes to just using a standard bolt instead of a threaded bolt that keeps the bike rack still. You'll definitely see more movement using just a regular bolt.
