Today we will be having a look at the etrailer replacement pin for 7,000 pound and 12,500 pound Ram sleeve lock couplers part number: CA-5196-PN. This is the replacement pin lock. As you can see, it comes with a lanyard here. We want this in case ours is damaged on our existing coupler or we've lost it. You may wonder how you could lose it. Well, if you have it disconnected like so and it gets snagged like so, it's only held in pace with a cotter pin right here in the back. You just push it through the hole once it's on the cotter pin and bend the tangs back. That secures it into place. If you've lost yours or you've damaged yours, just do the same thing.
Hook it onto a cotter pin, push it through, bend the tangs back and you have a perfect new pin lock here to make sure your trailer does not come uncoupled from your ball. That completes your look at the etrailer replacement pin for 7,000 pound and 12,500 pound ram sleeve lock couplers. Part Number: CA-5196-PN.

I usually store my Anderson hitch drawbar in the coupler. I had a Bulldog installed on my Airstream (well worth the $500 it cost). I use this lock when among friends to prevent them from dropping the Anderson on a foot if they are curious about the Bulldog. This lock would not deter a thief.

Product arived in timely manner. Perfect fitment. Etrailer has been fantastic with products and customer service. My only complaint is i wish the chain came wuth a small clip to attatch to the sleeve of the hitch so that i did not have to cut chain and crimp onto sleeve. But item was just as described on listing. Thanks etrailer
