Jeff: Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today. We're going to take a look at this replacement LED light board for the etrailer electric jack. Now this part will replace the LED light board that's on the etrailer electric jack, part number EJ-3520-BBX, or EJ-3520-WBX. This does include three LEDs.
And basically when this is installed on your jack it's on the front of the trailer jack, and it's designed to project light downwards onto your trailer coupler for easy hookup at night. But that should do it for the review on this replacement LED light board for the etrailer electric jack.

The light board was for my RAM 3500 series electric jack. Though the board itself was physically smaller in size it fit the slot in my RAM jack, and the wiring also fit just fine. The smaller red wire, that went to the switch was a bit short but I was able to get it plugged in to the switch connector. The light seems to work fine.

eTrailer service was great as usual.
No instructions even though connections were obvious. However for the ground screw I would have to support the trailer and take the Jack apart to get to it. Chose to simply cut the ground wire at the board on the old board. That left me with a wire fastened to the trailer jack as a ground. Cut off the ground screw connector from the wire that came with the new board. Then cut off the insulation and soldered the two wires together. Electrical tape and then liquid electrical tape will prevent oxidation of the connection.
The light works as expected. My original light board was flakey. I leave it on in the evening so folks don't run into the trailer or car hitch.

It all fit perfect! I drew an electrical diagram and numbered the wires before I removed the switches from the damage housing. I fed the wires through the new housing before I hooked up the switches. After I wired the switches I seated the switches in the new housing tested it and closed it all up. I thought the cover was expensive but it does save you approximately half the cost of a new jack! I guess one nice thing would be if it came with a wiring diagram .
