If you have an adjustable channel mount on the front of your trailer, and you're wanting to use an adjustable height trailer coupler you're gonna need hardware. If you go with the etrailer adjustable couplers, it is gonna come with hardware but a lot of them don't come with it. So that's what we're going over today. It's a very, very simple product. It's just hardware for those couplers. So it's gonna be a pack of one.
So for your adjustable couplers, you're most likely gonna need two, maybe three. It all just depends, but this is gonna be for pretty much any of them. You're gonna see a lot of hardware kits on our site, and they're pretty much the same thing. It has a diameter of five eights of an inch right here and it's gonna be five inches long. So that's gonna be plenty of length to go all the way through.
And it's gonna work with multiple different kinds of adjustable couplers. So you can see two in action right now down at the bottom with our collar style. But if we did want to use another brand, it's not even etrailer's brand, this is a Demco. It's gonna work with your Demco stuff as well. Slides right in, just like that.
Even for your Pro Series, your Bulldogs or your Curts, this hardware's gonna work for all of them. When it comes to the hardware, some of them aren't coded. This one is it's grade eight hardware. So it's gonna be extra strong compared to some of the other ones. If you don't necessarily have to go with the hardware kit specifically for your coupler I always just go for the best hardware and that's what we gave you in our little kit.
It is only gonna come with one. It's gonna come with one nylon lock nut, and then two little washers. Little washer's gonna go on one side like this, you're gonna stick it through your coupler and everything and then we're gonna put a washer on the other side and then we just wanna torque this down to the specs of whichever coupler you are installing and all you need is a 24 millimeter socket for this side and a 24 for the other side. There's not a whole lot to it folks. But this is the best kind of hardware that you can put on your trailer, especially if it sits out. And you just want to put the best of the best just to make sure it's not going to break and ours are not. So that's pretty much it, for a look at the replacement hardware for your adjustable trailer couplers..
