Colin: Hey guys, Colin here with etrailer. Today I'm just going to take some time and show you guys, this is a replacement part for your etrailer lock. This is just a dust cap cover.It's pretty important to make sure you have one of these on there to help keep out all that crud and debris out of your lock cylinder. And so if you happen to misplace your dust cap cover or maybe it just breaks off of your lock, you can be able to just pick one of these up and throw it on there. It will work for any of the hitch locks that you might have, or any of the coupler latch locks, or maybe even your spare tire lock if you happen to lose that.It's a direct replacement, so it's just going to go right over your lock right there. And again, you can see that without a dust cap cover on there, it leaves it wide open to any of that road salt or any other grime and debris getting in there.
So putting that cap on is just going to help make sure that doesn't happen. Again, this is just a really good idea to go ahead and get this replaced so you can extend the life of your lock and not have to worry about getting a new one..

The dust caps work great. I use them on an Anderson Rapid Hitch. They fit a little bit loose but have stayed on.
This dust cover did not fit tightly on the Blue Ox barrel lock. Seemed just a bit to big, so I put a few rounds of electrical tape around the barrel lock. That helped snug up the fit. Who would have thought there are different sizes.

did not fit snug in hitch lock, had to wrap lock with black tape to get dust cover to stay on.

A little big, but could find it no where else. Will have to figure out how to make it fit tighter.
These fit my trimax lock perfectly and are better than the original one. Tmc10 is the model number of the lock.

Wrong size. Did not fit my hitch lock. Description does not mention size.
I said poor because it did fit my hitch lock. You website said you only had 1 size 7/8 id. My lock end measured exactly 7/8 (not an etrailer hitch lock) but it was to large. Only x.xx the freight was more than the cover. Oh well I tried.

The dust covers appear to heavy duty compared to the originals that came with the lock set.
I recently installed a hitch mounted cargo carrier on my 5th wheel. I decided that it should be locked to deter any thievery, but my old MasterLock was missing the dust/debris cover. etrailer comes through again!
These are a perfect fit for replacing the dust caps on the Torklift Fastgun tiedown locks, thank you!

Still fits my lock well and rubber has not deteriorated.
The product I purchased , the diameter is to big. I thought they was universal. Oh well not worth sending back. Not your fought. I will have to calm where I purchased the locking pins. Regards
it was too small for my traier hitch cove so to me it was a waste of 9.00 i just wish it would of sais size

I am sorry to hear that the dust cap is not fitting. It should have an inner diameter of seven eighths and fits with etrailer branded locks. Which lock do you have?

The diameter of the Reese lock must be different than the one that we carry. I checked and we do not have replacement dust covers for Reese locks. I am sorry as I do not have an alternate idea to offer.

It looks like this cover goes with our etrailer branded hitch pin locks. The inner diameter of the cover is seven eighths of an inch.
