Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at a two-inch CASS coupler with a three-position channel bracket. The CASS coupler with a three-position channel bracket makes it easy to cuff on your trailer. The coupler features a spring-loaded auto-engaged latch mechanism that lets you quickly lock it to a hitch ball with just one hand, so it's easy to do, it's easy to operate. What you need to do is take off the pen and clip. It's held on there with a tether so you don't have to worry about misplacing that or losing that, and then the latch mechanism right here, this is the auto-engage, so when you drop it over the hitch ball, it'll automatically allow it to connect to the hitch ball. But also, this can be pinned back to the open position.
You just pull that back, place the pin in the groove, and then the latch will rest on top of that. So that holds it in the open position for even easier connecting.Then when you're ready to secure the hitch ball, allow that latch to drop back into this position, and then take your pin and clip and secure it, and that prevents the latch from accidentally opening and releasing from the hitch ball. So the latch can be pinned open for ease of uncoupling or coupling. The three-position channel bracket allows height adjustability to level your trailer, so the bracket actually welds to your trailer, and then the coupler bolts onto the channel bracket with the included hardware. Fasteners, again, are included.
The unit's made of rugged CASS steel. This is designed to work with a two-inch hitch ball, and it has a weight capacity of up to 10,000 pounds. The bracket, edge-to-edge, measures four inches. Top to bottom, it's 7 5/8 inches. And that's gonna do it for today's look at the two-inch CASS coupler with a three-position channel bracket..

It even came with the C channel to weld to the tongue of the trailer.

Joel W - 02/15/2021I ordered this trailer coupler to replace the worn out coupler on my boat trailer. I needed a class 4 unit to handle the weight. I finished installation yesterday. It's a very robust coupler and appears to be well designed/manufactured. The ability to adjust height as well as interchange coupler type is valuable as I can use different tow vehicles without a problem.

1 year in. LOVE the ease of hooking up the trailer. Grandpa especially loves how it just clicks into place by dropping the Tongue onto the hitch. Don't forget to paint it right away.. it looks like its got a coating, but no, Its raw steel.

Great hitch but it's hard to get the latch opened and closed. Better have a hammer handy. Also have to have a tarp strap handy to hold it in the open position to get hooked up.

We have used this coupler on several trailers that we have built. Although it is rated for 10K and our trailers are not that heavy we like the construction and features of this coupler. We have not had any issues with the couplers we have purchased in the past.
