Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the Buyer's Products, 2-5/16 inch cast coupler with the three position channel. Now, the cast coupler with the three position channel from Buyer's Products makes it very easy when you're ready to couple to your trailer. It features a spring loaded auto engage latch, which lets you quickly lock it to a hitch ball with just one hand. So all you need to do when you're ready to connect to a hitch ball is you pull the pin and clip right here and then you can simply take it and drop it onto a hitch ball. And when the hitch ball contacts this area here, it'll push that latch mechanism up and it'll automatically engage.Now if you want to pin this in the open position, all you got to go is lift up, take the pin that we removed and place it right there and it'll hold it in the open position as well. So the latch can be pinned open for ease of uncoupling with the included pin and to secure it in the down or lock position, you make sure that engages all the way down and then you place the pin through the pin holes and secure it in place with the clip.
Now that pin is held on there with a lanyard, so you don't have to worry about misplacing that or losing it. The three position channel, which is this portion back here, this allows height adjustability for leveling your trailer.So the channel welds to your trailer and the coupler bolts to the channel and then you just pick the position that works best for your application. Bolts and nuts are included, so that get that attached. It's made of a rugged cast steel, with plain finishing. It's very strong and durable.
The maximum gross trailer weight capacity is 15,000 pounds. This is designed to accept a 2-5/16 inch hitch ball. Now the bracket, I took a measurement from outer edge to outer edge right here, got a measure at about four inches wide from very bottom to very top, I got a measurement of 7-5/8 inches tall. And I took an overall depth measurement from the back of the bracket to the outermost point of the coupler and got a measurement of about 10-1/8 inches to 10-1/4 inches.That's going to do it for today's look at the Buyer's Products 2-5/16 inch cast coupler with the three-position channel.

Great hitch but it's hard to get the latch opened and closed. Better have a hammer handy. Also have to have a tarp strap handy to hold it in the open position to get hooked up.
Always have had good results fro etrailer but this time not so good. Ordered a trailer coupler but only the adapter channel showed up.
BPC Hitches are the best. We bought one trailer that had one and now we want to up grade all our trailers.

This looks like a well built coupler that will automatically latch when set on the ball. It even came with the C channel to weld to the tongue of the trailer.

1 year in. LOVE the ease of hooking up the trailer. Grandpa especially loves how it just clicks into place by dropping the Tongue onto the hitch. Don't forget to paint it right away.. it looks like its got a coating, but no, Its raw steel.

We have used this coupler on several trailers that we have built. Although it is rated for 10K and our trailers are not that heavy we like the construction and features of this coupler. We have not had any issues with the couplers we have purchased in the past.

I ordered this trailer coupler to replace the worn out coupler on my boat trailer. I needed a class 4 unit to handle the weight. I finished installation yesterday. It's a very robust coupler and appears to be well designed/manufactured. The ability to adjust height as well as interchange coupler type is valuable as I can use different tow vehicles without a problem.
