Hi, everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today we are looking at the Portable Electric Pump. This is for the Airbedz Air Mattresses here at etrailer. So this portable electric pump, can be plugged straight into your vehicle, which makes it super useful with your current Airbedz Air Mattresses. Now these usually come with a pump, so if you happen to lose them, this is a good replacement, but if you have other mattresses or inflatables, like pool inflatables or towable tubes, or even inflatable kayaks, this is a nice addition to your current setup. There are also options if you want to use your mattress at home. So what you might be interested in, is the exact same Electric Air Pump, but with an AC 120 volt plug.
So this plugs straight into your wall, and you can use this to inflate your mattress. Now this is great with your at-home air mattresses or even your truck bed air mattresses with the additional wheel well plugs. This has a 12 volt plug, and this works with your vehicles DC port. It also comes with a six foot long cord. So this is how far our six foot long cord can reach.
I have it plugged into our console and you can see that it fits or reaches the back seat of our SUV. So you can see this is ideal for cars, or SUV's. If you're trying to inflate a truck bed mattress though, you may have to consider where your port is on your vehicle and plan accordingly. This comes with three valve adapters. So you have a large adapter, a medium one, and a really small one, that you usually find in smaller pool inflatables.
Now this can be used as well with your inflatable kayaks. I know a bunch of people that like these small electric pumps, just to start it and get most of the work done. This doesn't have a PSI gauge though, so I know what they like to do, is get a smaller, manual hand pump just to get that precise measurement, once this mostly inflates it. Now portable air pumps like these need to be compact, but also durable, because of the time they're going to spend inside of your vehicle. So this is made of a nice, strong, hard plastic, and it is small enough to fit into most of your small areas inside your vehicle.
So this is going to plug into your vehicles 12 volt port. So I'll show you how to do that. Just unroll the cord, and then plug it in, and then you can then turn it on, once your car's battery is on. To inflate your mattress or your inflatable, your then gonna use a valve with your pump. Now most Airbedz Mattresses, uses the second valve or the medium sized valve. That's going to fit over your pump and then fit into the inflatable, and then fill it up. And when you went to deflate it, after let's say, a long day, and it's time to pack up, you just put it onto the deflate port and then deflate that inflatable. I have here a rear seat mattress from Airbedz, and I'm using this as an example, just to see how long it takes to inflate, the main mattress portion. So I'll start my stopwatch right there and inflate. And, there, so it took about a minute to completely inflate this mattress.
