Jake: Hey guys. It's Jake here with etrailer. Today, we're going to be taking a look at, and I'm going to show you how to use the Pittman Outdoors Cordless Pump. This pump is going to run off of four D cell batteries. You'll see them in there. So, you're going to be able to use it where you may not have connection to electric. The pump is going to come with three different attachment heads. Two fit different applications.
This one will be good for filling balloons, or if you have a fill on an inner tube, or something like that. But your largest opening, is going to be the inlet and the outlet itself, without any attachments on it. You'll have an inlet here, that's going to blow air into whatever you're wanting to pump up, and an outlet that's going to add for a nice controlled deflate, in order to get something nice and flat, to be able to roll it back up.This air pump is going to require four D cell batteries, which are not included so you want to pick a couple of those up. It's not a bad idea to pick up some extra, in case your batteries die.And then, all you need to do is hook it up to, for example, we have our air mattress here, and our bed, and just turn it on.You do want to make sure that the inlet for the pump that's breathing is not covered up by anything. So, you don't want it sitting flat on anything so that it can get air. When you hear the pump start to change tone is when you're going to stop. So, we'll stop there, pull it out, and replace our cap on our bed.For our airbed that's in the back of our truck right now, it only took about 60 seconds to air up.
So, that's pretty impressive for such a little pump, to be able to put that much air in that amount of time. For our airbed, for example, it's really hard to get all the air out of these air mattresses, so we're going to use the inlet to hook it up to our air mattress. Here we have the nozzle open, hook it up, and we'll turn it on. We're actually going to suck the rest of the air out so the air mattress is flat and we can roll it up.So, again, you're going to wait for that audible change in the pump and shut it off. Now you can see our air mattress is nice and flat and ready to be rolled up.Well, guys, now that we've gone over some of the cool features about this portable air pump, that's going to do it for a look at the Pittman Portable Air Pump.
