Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor System for Air Helper Springs - Remote - Bluetooth - Single Path - AL25980

Average Customer Rating:  4.8 out of 5 stars   (295 Customer Reviews)

by:

Install was fairly simple. A dual path would have been my first choice. Shipping took longer than expected, probably my fault for selecting USPS. I installed the compressor with velcro to the top of the fuse box in the engine compartment to keep it dry and out of the elements of the harsh winters we have

by:

Excellent customer service as usual. Ordered this system and received it in five days. My installation is some what different than most, I mounted all the components on a 3” piece of metal plate and bolted it between two cross members under the bed in front of the spare tire, if I ever need to replace a component just drop the spare and it is a snap. Will be using this compressor for two different trailers a 35’ 5th wheel and a 24’ enclosed car trailer.

by:

It’s neat and not that hard job to installing it.

by:

Easy install. Great instructions and online videos.

by:

Product arrived as advertised. Installation took about 4 hours, but at my age takes a little extra time to crawl around and run lines, etc. I installed the pump and control box on left side of cargo box on a 2019 Chevy 2500HD Duramax. Controls work as described. I run 10 psi to maintain bag pressure and at 45 psi when hooked up to our 5th wheel keeping the truck and camper nice and level. Great product for the price. I like having the remote control as I can increase/decrease pressure as needed when hooking up to camper.

by:

I’ve had these before on a truck and they were well worth the money! Got a new truck and we’re installing them on it.

by:

Great instructions! Very easy to install with the provided hardware and pairing with the phone and controller was quick too! I definitely recommend this!

by:

All of our company trucks have been equipped with the Airlift Systems. We use them weekly and they are performing flawlessly. We could not do what we do without the assistance which the airbags provide due to heavy tongue weight. Customer service receives 5 Stars as well!

by:

The Air Lift WirelessOne compressor system had everything in the box for installation and the etrailer videos made it easy to install other than I didn’t have an angle drill for drilling holes in the frame of the truck. I made it work but an angle drill would have saved me much on the time to install.

by:

This compressor is the second one I have owned and I have loved every minute of it. It makes it so easy to inflate you air bags using the remote control for the compressor. I pull a 17,000 lb toy hauler with my 2013 Ram 2500 and this allows me to perfectly select and maintain the pressure needed in the bags to help keep sag out of the truck and provide more stability. The installation of the system was relatively easy when following the instructions. Lastly I would like to give etrailer.com a shout out for good products and reasonable prices. Thanks again!!!!!!

by:

Awesome product fairly easy to install. Noticed a big difference when towing vehicle feels great and handling was improved. Vehicle would squat when towing a 25 foot trailer now sits leveled and has a firm ride.

by:

Just installed these and they seem to work fine.

by:

This onboRd compressor works great! I haul a variety of items and tow a camper and horse trailer. Combining this with rear axel air bags makes it easy to level and provide stability

by:

Part arrived two day late. The air bag system went in get had it installed in about 1 hour. I works great love that I cam control it with the remote. Great price this unit cost my friend $1,100.00 last year, I got the same unit under $500.00.

by:

I went to extraordinary lengths for a sanitary installation on a 2017 Tundra. After much deliberation I mounted the compressor and control module on the front inside wall of my bed. It's a bit annoying to not have weatherproof units for a design like this. The instructions call out concern for getting the connections out of wet areas. That's fine, except you have to be conscious of the BT signal path. This could be a better unit with more thought. The BIG complaint is the compressor noise. You can wake the dead with this thing, and it might go off at an inappropriate time due to temperature change or bleed off. It does what it's supposed to do, and it's a joy to be able to adjust on the fly. I pull an assortment of trailers from 18' flatbed equipment to 28' enclosed car trailer, and they all require a different pressure. I'd probably still buy it again, but there's room for design improvement.

by:

This has been a great product so far and was really easy to install

by:

Order arrived right on time. I'm very pleased with the product.

by:

Items were very convenient to install and instructions easy to follow.
Delivery of items were delayed a couple of days due to weather .
Otherwise all was well

by:

Great product for towing/hauling! The staff at Etrailer is very courtesy and knowledgeable! Shipping, tracking, and follow-up by Etrailer was fantastic

by:

Love it!! Convenience of on-board wireless compressor is great, and it keeps the truck level when hauling the 5th wheel. No issues with it. The truck no longer sags in the back with the weight of the 5th wheel.

by:

Very fast delivery excellent

by:

As always product arrived quickly and in great shape ..I just received package yesterday and I haven’t had a chance to install it yet, will do follow up review after installation.

by:

So far the air compressor has been working flawlessly. Worth the extra expense to be able to keep the pressure adjusted from inside the truck and not have to check the pressure with a gauge and fill or deflate manually.

by:

I like it works great a e plus

by:

Reasonable install. Handles my light duty trailer easily. Very easy to increase/decrease pressure

  • Differences in Air Lift Wireless Air Compressors item # AL25980EZ and item # AL25980
There's not many differences between the Air Lift WirelessONE item # AL25980EZ and item # AL25980. The main difference is that the item # AL25980EZ has a slightly higher CFM at 1.03 compared to 0.92 and it runs slightly more efficient at 9% over 15% during the duty cycle. This won't matter for a set of Airlift 1000HD's. The Air Lift WirelessONE item # AL25980EZ includes a mounting bracket but has to be mounted horizontally or vertically. Item # AL25980 doesn't have a bracket but can be...

  • What Causes 14 Error Code on Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor System
If you have the Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor System like part # AL25980 or part # AL25980EZ then you can simply look in the owner's manual for said error code as there should be a chart which references this and provides a suggested solution. I went ahead and did this for you and what I found was that the "14" error code represents a compressor that is under current and the proposed solution for this is to first check the battery and ground connections. If this does not fix then issue...

  • 1A Error Code on Air Lift Wireless ONE Air Bag Compressor System Remote Control
According to Air Lift, if the compressor won't run when you push the inflation button, the vehicle battery output is too low, below 9 volts. Check the vehicle battery to ensure it's fully charged and the power connections to make sure they're secure.

  • Troubleshooting Remote For Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor System # AL25980
I called my contact at Air Lift and asked about the remote for the # AL25980. They told me that if you can open the battery compartment, the contact that the battery has contact with will sometimes not make contact with the battery and that is the reason it will not turn on. They recommend bending the tab so that the battery makes contact and that should take care of the problem. If that does not work, then the remote may be defective and will need to be replaced.

  • Can PSI Be Set and Will Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor System # AL25980 Maintain it
The Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor System # AL25980 that you referenced is designed to kick on when needed to maintain a pre-set air pressure that you pick. This won't turn on unless the vehicle is turned on so it would not continue to run in storage or parked overnight.

  • Troubleshooting AirLift Wireless One Air Spring Compressor Kit AL25980
It sounds like you have had the Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor System # AL25980 installed in your 2014 Ram 1500 along with your new air spring kit. I spoke with my technical contact at Air Lift and there are a few things that can be checked. The compressor ground needs to be made at the truck frame (or battery negative post). If grounded at any other points the compressor may not be able to deliver full power. Also check for any pinched air lines or loose electrical connections.

The # AL25980 Kit includes the compressor, weather-resistant manifold, wireless remote, mobile app, wiring harness, and air lines. The # AL25980 lets you adjust any brand of air springs. • Troubleshooting Air Compressor Kit for Air Bag Suspension Enhancement that Leaks
It's probably not the compressor that isn't holding air and instead is the air lines of your setup. The compressors generally don't develop leaks whereas the air lines are much easier for this issue to happen. An easy way to determine where the leak is to put soapy water in a spray bottle and spray the air lines and if there's a leak you'll see bubbles. Most likely it will be near any areas where there's susceptibility to heat or moving parts and/or the fittings as well.

  • Compressor Does Not Kick On, On An Airlift V2 Management
It may certainly be a sign of a faulty relay, however I also recommend checking for leaks in the air lines as well. This could also be the source of trouble. However, if you've verified the fuse is good, and that there are no air lines leaking, then you may need to replace the compressor.

  • Troubleshooting an Air Lift Load Controller Compressor System # AL25980
I spoke to a technician at Air Lift. He told me the only time they get codes 8 and 9 active together is because there is debris or something loose in the electrical harness. He told me to correct this you will need to unplug the harness from the manifold. Then blow out the four pins of the harness with some canned air. Then plug the harness back into the manifold and it should be working. The tech said if that didn't fix the issue, you would need to reach out to Air Lift for a warranty claim.

First I recommend checking the module for any error codes or if any updates are available. I have linked the instructions below which will cover checking the troubleshooting codes and checking for any updates. Be sure to also check the air line at the barb connector leaving the compressor. It sounds like you may need to check out your wiring on your Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor System for Air Helper Springs # AL25980. Considering that it worked fine before, and now blows fuses that leads me to believe your wiring is the issue. It could also be a bad compressor, but I would first make sure that your wiring is good. The Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor System for Air Helper Springs # AL25980 you have should kick on for a few seconds when you start your vehicle, and may kick on every now and then, but it should not be running constantly.
