The Roadmaster anti-sway bar does for side-to-side movement what a good pair of shocks does for up-and-down motion. You will notice a marked improvement in your vehicle's stability as the bar works to balance weight transfer and reduce body roll. The anti-sway bar acts as a link between your vehicle's frame and its front axle, using the axle as a brace to more effectively balance the shifting weight of your vehicle as you maneuver it. Lubricated bushings allow just enough pivot and rotation to compensate for the pressure placed on one side of your vehicle when it goes into sudden maneuvers, hits crosswinds or encounters shifting weights.
Superior Construction
The Roadmaster anti-sway bar is made of 4140 chromoly, a chromium and molybdenum steel alloy. This type of steel is considerably harder and stronger than the standard 1020 steel that is typically used in anti-sway applications. In addition, the larger diameter of the bar increases its torsional roll stiffness. The result is a bar that is not only stronger than the competition, but also nearly 30 percent better at resisting sway. The polyurethane bushings and grommets used at the attachment points are durable yet flexible, ensuring that the system is neither so rigid nor so malleable that it becomes ineffective.

These twin I beam suspension have a tendency to follow uneven road surfaces, this pretty much eliminated a lot of that. Installed it myself with the Roadmaster end links and the only complaint I have is I had to enlarge bolt hole for the end link bolt, other than that, well satisfied. I also installed the rear sway bar at same time, highly recommend replacing the front and rear sway bars together.
I purchased a Roadmaster antisway bar to replace the stock bar on my 2012 Pleasureway Excel Motorhome which is on a Ford E350 chassis. I did the install myself and instructions were very clear and was not too difficult to do. Handling is much improved, I have noticed less body roll when turning or going over bumps. I have included photos to show the difference between the stock bar diameter and the beefier Roadmaster bar.

Received my 2019 E450 front Roadmaster sway bar yesterday and installed it today.
Easy install, Instructions sheets was easy to understand. Did a test drive for 10 miles, Boy what a difference. Feels great , nice and tight , now have front and rear sway bars from Etrailer as well as steering stabilizer . makes my Class C handle much easier going down the road. These sway bars are much thicker than the ford standard bars. Etrailer has great videos to show all installs. Thanks Etrailer for all the info.
Easy installation with exact fit on a 2020 Sunseeker 2440DS with a Ford 2019 E450 chassis. I’m sure it will improve the ride for it’s twice as thick as the factory sway bar.
Your directions need updating for the 2019 E450 takes a 19 mm for the front bushing clamp not a 14mm. The rear is a 16 mm not a 10mm and the end link nut is a 19 mm.
Ordered both front and back came and installed both work outstanding but to complete the install still need the steering stabilizer that has been on back order since March.
Bottom line - Yes its worth it.

Installed this on my 2022 Entegra Odyssey. It was bigger and more stout than the factory sway bar. I can definitely tell a difference in handling when larger trucks pass me.
I purchased and installed both the front and rear Roadmaster anti-sway bars for our class C motorhome. It didn't solve all of our issues but it was a huge step in the right direction. Coupled with a larger steering stabilizer, Bilstein shock absorbers & rear helper air springs, the ride has improved by leaps and bounds. We feel much safer driving down the road in the high winds. Roadmaster makes a great product and install was a breeze. I would recommend their products to anyone.
In a word; AMAZING! This product transformed the experience of operating my Class C. Turns are flat and controlled. Sway is significantly reduced. Overall driver comfort is improved beyond my expectations.
The stock sway bars on the Ford E450 cutaway are trash. After replacing both the front and rear sway bars the RV handles like a dream.

Super nice people to work with. Was on the road and had it shipped to repair facilty within 48 hrs. Sway bar is just what i needed for those west winds. No more being pushed aside by the big rigs( at least alot less). Thx again
Overall very happy with purchase of front Anti-Sway bar. Installation required the use of torched heat and a 6 point socket to remove the two front bolts on the original Anti-Sway bar on my 2016 Ford E-450 (Thor Outlaw Class C). After using heat on the frame around the bolts for about 30 seconds, the bolts were easily removed. The new Anti-Sway bar was quite a bit larger than the original and fairly easy to install following supplied instructions. This completes the installation of the front and back Anti-Sway bars and the Loadmaster Reflex Steering Stabilizer. Final test drive tomorrow.
etrailer Rep (Paula S.) was very helpful making sure I got the right Anti- Sway Bar for my R.V. and informed me on future parts I plan to get. Very nice.. Part arrived in a week as promised and is visually the best replacement for my stock Anti-Sway Bar. Good to have a reasonable priced reliable source for my R.V. needs.
Worked out great handles much better
I added this and the SumoSprings. Have not driven on the highway yet (that will be in a couple weeks) so I will update this review later. Around our neighborhood in the county the road is really bad and it seemed so much better with less swaying.
Oh this is pretty heavy and you WILL need an impact wrench to remove the bushing bolts

shipment was quick I installed them with problem big difference from factory ones,
The install was very easy. Followed the steps in the video and except for needing an 18mm wrench not a 17mm.
The difference in handling is very noticeable as the wife comment on it as we took a test right after installing it, the wind was 20 to gusts of 30 mph.
In a direct crosswind a lot less steering input required and when meeting vehicles no noticeable push anymore. We only went 25 miles so will do a longer test another day.
The fit was exceptional and fairly easy to install.

The Front Anti-Sway Bar for my Thor Four Winds (31') on a Ford E-450 chassis came with replacement bushings, grease, loctite and installation instructions. The sway bar was easily installed. The on the road difference between the Ford sway bar and the Roadmaster was apparent immediately during the test drive. It greatly improved the overall handling of the vehicle.
