BOLT (Breakthrough One-key Lock Technology) has solved that problem by designing a line of locks that can operate with a key you already have handy - your vehicle ignition key.
When you insert your own key into the cylinder, spring-loaded plate tumblers move up and down until they are matched exactly to that key. The first time the key is rotated, the cylinder is uniquely coded to that key. When the key is removed, the cylinder moves into the locked position. When the key is turned again, it will rotate to the unlocked position.
BOLT is particularly useful in commercial applications. Imagine being able to send a crew without having to sign out multiple keys for a work truck, trailer, hitch pins, and equipment locks. With BOLT, the vehicle key becomes a master key. It opens all those locks and you no longer have the hassle of getting to a work site only to find that you've brought the wrong keys.

You will alwasy have your key with and you already have a sparek key. New keys can be obtained from a dealer.
It's a new truck that I plan on having for a long time so why not?
The cable seems like a standard security cable, and the lock is heavy enough to match the weight of the cable.
Overall it's decent enough to prevent honest people and thieves of opportunity from stealing my property. However, It will easily be defeated by a thief who is prepared. There are other methods to account for that. I plan on making it not worth the while for any would-be thief to go after my stuff, and this is only part of the plan.
The key pairing is easy to do and locking/unlocking is also easy.
I like this product, I will add to my collection of the various locks and devices it works with.
I have this bolt lock, keyed to my Jeep ignition key. The self-keying is simple and takes less than a minute. I also have the other bolt products including a trailer tongue receiver pin lock, pad lock and Jeep hood lock. They are all excellent products.
Bolt locks are great. Have a Jeep and off road trailer. My greatest fear is to get up in the mountains to camp a left a trailer key at home. No problem now Jeep key unlocks everything. Your service is great.
I like only needing my ignition key for these locks, very convenient. Will be using to secure items in the bed of my truck.

Excellent products. The one thing you dont lose when hunting is your car keys. Even then most guys have another set stashed away somewhere. I used these through two full hunting seasons now and cant be more satisfied by their functionality. In fact 3 of the guys I hunt with have inquired about the locks. I directed them to your website.
