Video Transcript for Breaking Down the Go Power Sun Cycle Advanced Lithium RV Battery

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a brief look together at this Go Power Sun Cycle Advanced lithium 12 volt 300 amp hour RV battery. Now, this advanced lithium iron battery is going to provide DC power for your RVs with ultramodern electrical systems. This battery is going to give you longer life. It's going to charge faster and it's going to maintain voltage better than lead acid batteries.

As I mentioned, this does have a 300 amp hour capacity. Multiple batteries can be combined to store more energy for off-grid camping, up to eight batteries in parallel or up to four batteries in series. This features a battery management system that safeguards against over-voltage and under-voltage situations, and it also protects against extreme temperatures, shorts, and charge, discharge overcurrent. And this has a built-in smart DC heater that's going to prevent freezing temperatures from shortening the battery life. The Bluetooth connectivity is going to allow you to monitor this battery with the Go Power Connect app that you're gonna be able to download for free on your smartphone.

You're gonna be able to use that app to check the state of voltage, current, charge status, and even the temperature. Now, the Go Power inter-battery communication cable that you see there on your screen is going to show the multi battery bank is one system and the RVC compatibility, which you can see right here on my overhead camera, that's going to work with control systems that use multiplex wiring. You can see the status of the batteries from the RVC-enabled touch panel, touch screen panels, rather. That cable, if you are in need of that, is on your screen and you can just take that item number that you see there, pop it in the search field of our website. That will take you to that cable and you can add that to your order if you are in need of that.

Taking another look here overhead, we also have a power button here that's going to allow you to control your power mode so you can put it to sleep or you can allow this to be disabled, disable the power output of the battery, turn it completely off. This does feature an ABS plastic case. It's going to be flame retardant and impact resistant and then maybe you can see it there from that angle. We do have mounting holes on the corners here and along the sides here. That's going to allow you to get this installed in place.

It does come with these brackets and hardware to allow you to get this securely in place. And this battery weighs a little over 77 pounds. I had my coworker help me put it on the table just to make sure that we had plenty of support for it. So a little over 77 pounds. And let me go ahead and run through some measurements with you so you have a good idea of the size. So lining this up here and taking a look at the overall length first. I'm going to just put the tape measure right about here. So as I hope you can see there, trying to line that up as best as I can. Hopefully can see from that angle. We're sitting about 19 and 5/8 inches long. And then looking at the depth, and again, these are kind of rough measurements here, but I just wanna give you an idea of the size. Looks like we're sitting right at about 14 and 7/8 inches deep. And then in regards to the height, make sure I'm down there on the platform, about 8 and 11/16 inches tall. This does have a 10-year warranty from the manufacturer. And I also wanted to show you that these do have handles here along the side to allow for easy transport to help you get this set into place. And an instruction sheet is also included to go over some of the, just give you an overview of this battery. And it's got a QR code that you can scan so you can go to the the full manual. Well, I think that's going to wrap up our look today. I do hope that our time together was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.

  • Recommended Battery Box for a 20" x 15" Battery
No, I am sorry we do not have a lockable box for the Go Power Sun Cycle Advanced Lithium RV Battery item # GP26QR. Given it's odd shape of, 19-5/8" long x 14-7/8" wide x 8-11/16" tall, the only thing we have would be the Commercial Grade Battery Box for Dual 8D Batteries item # 329-HM485. It does work with lithium batteries but it is not lockable.

  • How Much Solar Power is Needed for Refrigerator in 2020 Brookstone 310RL
It is difficult to say without more information. It is really going to depend on the power used by the fridge and the size of your batteries. For example, a fridge like the Everchill # 324-000119 uses 11-amp hours of power, so it's going to consume 264 amp hours of power over the course of a day. A residential fridge typically takes a large system like the Go Power Solar AE-6 All Electric System with 2 MPPT Solar Controllers - 1,140 Watt Solar Panels # 342-75011. Also, a minimum of 600...

  • Is 200 Amp Hour Lithium Battery Enough For AC, Fridge, TV, & Lights in RV
Hi Armand, It is unlikely a 200 amp hour lithium battery will be able to power an AC, fridge, TV, and lights, though it's not possible to say specifically because it depends on the power draw of each appliance as well as the numbers of hours it runs and what is running at the same time. You’ll need to calculate how much power your accessories draw in Watt-hours (Wh) and then convert it to Ah. To do so you’ll need to find the amount of watts they will draw by checking their manual, then...
