Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today I'm gonna take a look at this REDARD 12 Volt Alpha 150 Life PO4 Lithium RV battery. It has a 150 amp hour capacity. Now this is a lithium iron phosphate battery, which will provide long lasting efficient power to your RV. It is a 31 battery group size.
It is a life PO 4 which means it's a lithium iron phosphate and the capacity on this is 150 amp hours. It does use lightning fast charging, which will top off the battery in just 1.1 hours, which is 80% faster than the competitors. The state of the charge and the capacity remaining can be monitored with a mobile app. Also on the battery itself right here, it has status LEDs. There's three LED lights.
When it's flashing green like it is right now, that means it's in operational mode. If it flashes yellow, it'd be warning mode, and if it flashes red, that's in error mode. This is a nice compact size and lightweight that lets you optimize your storage space and weight distribution without sacrificing quality performance. The weight on this battery's about 34 pounds. It does offer multi connectable terminal options.
You can see your terminals right here. This will allow you to connect multiple loads and customize your setup. Take off the covers, you can see the post. Behind it, there's a couple of threaded openings and then there's even bolts that if you unscrew, the bolt will come out. So you can connect many different ways.
Also, what's nice, if you notice these terminal covers that cover the connection, it'll protect those electrical connection while doubling as carry handles. Also, I want to spin it around to show you your other connections you can make. If I zoom in, hop up the middle portion and you can see there's your other connections will be made. Run your wires in here and then you can just close that and lock it over the connections. It does use a self heating function, which allows the battery to charge and discharge in extreme climates. Provides power wherever your venture takes you. Has a long-term lifespan, ensures reliable cost-effective performance for years to come. It is a durable PCABS casing, helps prevent any damage that can be caused by vibration, dust, or water. A few specs on this battery recommended charge voltage, 14.3 volts to 14.6 volts. Maximum charge current's 135 amps. Maximum discharge, current continuous is 200 amps, 10 seconds is 350 amps. The operating temperature charge is a - 22 degrees Fahrenheit up to 113 degrees Fahrenheit, and discharge is a - 4 degrees Fahrenheit up to 140 degrees Fahrenheit. Storage temperature on this from - 4 degrees Fahrenheit to 113 degrees Fahrenheit. And the last thing just wanna mention is the dimensions on this, the length of it, it's about 14 inches long. The width, six and 7/8 inches wide. And your overall height 7 1/2 inches tall. Does come with a nice owner's manual to describe how this operates, how you hook everything up. But that's gonna do it for review on this REDARC 12 volt alpha 150 life PO4 lithium RV battery.
