There's not much I can say about safety chains other than they look strong enough to be safe. Thank God I haven't had a trailer break away from the truck but I am confident these chains would perform as well as any of the situation should arise.

The chains are very nice but not what is pictured. The shipping was fast and I would be more than willing to do business with Etrailer again.

The trailer hitch that I bought from etrailer for my CRV are fine, good quality and I had no problem installing it. The major problem is now that the hitch is mounted there is very little room between the end of the mounting bolt/nut for the hitch and the top of the muffler. The exhaust system is rubber mounted and normally vibrates away on those rubber mounts. With less clearance it now vibrates against the mounting bolt for the trailer hitch and rattles like a machine gun on acceleration etc, and every bump in the road. This is not good, I need a fix.

Love the lamination makes things look finished. Hope they never get tested.

I'm using these as a safety chain for a vehicle on a tow dolly. The vinyl coating will ensure they don't scratch the wheels of our Jeep. I did have an issue (not the fault of the product) with the size of the hooks--they are too small to hook to the ratchet bar on the dolly. I bought a couple 11,000 lb hook and bolted them to the dolly to solve the problem.

I'm always very impressed with etrailers customer service. Every time I order a product, if it's not immediately available or there's a better option, one of the representatives personally emails me with options. Fantastic customer service!
