The universal quick-release bracket makes it easy to mount and dismount the seat. The quick-release bracket is for use on bikes with a round frame diameter of 1.07" to 1.57" or elliptical frames with a max of 1.57" to 2.16". The bracket is not compatible on square, triangular, or carbon fiber frames.
Bicycles with saddles that are positioned too low for the seat to be mounted safely may require the RideAlong low saddle adapter (sold separately).
The Thule RideAlong Lite bike seat is designed with your child's safety in mind. The seat's 3-point harness has a childproof buckle, so your child can't accidentally undo the harness.
The foot straps secure your child's feet so they stay protected, and shielding around the legs keeps little feet and legs away from your bike's wheel spokes.
The RideAlong Lite also has molded wings along the armrests that safeguard your child's hands from pinching if the seat is leaned against a wall.
Being visible during low-light rides is incredibly important, and thanks to the built-in reflector and additional safety light attachment point, you can be sure you're seen.
The included quick-release bracket clamps onto your bike. The bike seat snaps into the quick-release bracket, and the bike seat's bracket has a red safety indicator so you know that the seat is locked securely in place.
The adjustable seat harness straps and footrests allow you to customize the bike seat's fit for your child. The harness straps can be lengthened easily by pressing the blue button on the strap to fit over a bike helmet and raised as your child grows taller.
The footrests raise or lower depending on the height of the passenger, and the foot straps adjust to fit growing feet. This flexibility means that the seat will work for more than one biking season. The footrest and foot strap adjustments can be made with one hand, making it easier to put your child in the seat and adjust the fit while holding the bike upright.
Thule's thoughtful design details make this child bike seat super comfortable. The shoulder harness is padded to prevent the straps from cutting into your child's neck and shoulders, and the seat liner has cushioning to ensure that your little one has a softer ride.
The included quick-release bracket clamps onto the rear seat post of your bike. The bike seat snaps into the quick-release bracket and is locked securely into place using the integrated locking system. The carrier bars are easily released by pressing the blue button on the front of the bracket.
The quick-release bracket can remain locked on your bike so you can easily attach the child seat the next time you take your toddler for a ride.
An additional quick-release bracket (sold separately) can be installed on a second bike to make it easier for 2 people to share carrying duties. The built-in lock utilizes the Thule One-Key System. This locking system allows you to change out the lock cores on multiple accessories to make them all keyed alike. So if you have 2 different seat brackets on separate bikes and want them keyed alike, you can replace the existing lock cores with 2 Thule One-Key System lock cores (sold separately).

Fits oval and round bike frames.The seat is great and my daughter who is 3.5 loves it. It is awkward to ride around with because I am not used to the added balancing act, but definitely doable. I was disappointed that it took about a month for our delivery, but with COVID shipping for a lot of companies have been delayed. The first box came with missing parts. The company immediately sent a new seat once informed and we received it in 2 days. Which is really nice considering we hadn’t even mailed back the first seat. All is good now and I would recommend both seat and company.
Great kid seat! Light but feels super solid and has quick and easy straps.
