Tired of relying on your side mirrors, an unsafe glance over your shoulder, or just praying there's nobody in your blind spot when changing lanes? Back up without the worry of getting smoked by another vehicle speeding by or hitting a distracted pedestrian on their phone. This CUB blind spot monitoring system features advanced radar sensors that monitor adjacent lanes, even in areas with low reception such as tunnels and mountains, and pillar-mount LED indicators that provide audible and visual alerts from inside your vehicle, ensuring complete safety when hitting the open road in your RV or motorhome.
The blind spot detection feature tracks and alerts you of other vehicles entering your blind spot. It automatically activates when your RV or motorhome exceeds 15 MPH and begins to monitor other vehicles when they enter the "Warning Zone" starting at 75' away. Once a vehicle is within 16' or approaching at high speeds and within 2 seconds of potential impact, the LED indicators will illuminate to the corresponding side.
Lane change alert warns you of vehicles approaching prior to changing lanes. This feature activates when both the RV exceeds 15 MPH and the turn signals are in use. It begins to monitor other vehicles when they enter the "Warning Zone" starting at 75' away. Once a vehicle is within 2 seconds of potential impact, the LED indicators will beep and flash to the corresponding side of the activated turn signal.
Rear cross traffic alert warns you of approaching vehicles or pedestrians while backing up. It automatically activates when the RV or motorhome is placed in reverse and begins to monitor low-speed rear cross traffic starting at 60' away. Once a vehicle or pedestrian is within 2 seconds of potential impact, the LED indicators will beep and flash to the corresponding side of the oncoming rear traffic.

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the Blind Spot Monitoring System for 35 foot long RVs and motorhomes. Now, this is an advanced blind spot monitoring system, which will provide blind spot detection, lane change alert, and even rear cross traffic alert. And as we mentioned, it is for 35 foot long RVs and motorhomes. This kit will include everything shown here on the table. Just wanna zoom in, give you a better look at the pieces here, and we'll go through them all.
I'm gonna start with the left and right blind spot radar sensors with the gaskets, the control unit, right here it includes the left and right pillar mount warning indicators, a power button, a buzzer, it includes the wiring harnesses you need, even includes an OBD-II harness, it includes the hardware, the connectors, and they even have include a hole drill bit for installation of the indicators. Also has a nice installation guide and operation guide that'll show you how this operates and how it installs. Now, this system will monitor blind spots for increased safety while driving your RV or motorhome. We mentioned it is compatible with most 35 foot long RVs and motorhome, does include a 35 foot long trailer harness. Now, this will work in areas with low reception, such as tunnels or mountains.
We mentioned the sensors here, these are a left and a right radar sensor, they are equipped for blind spot detection, lane change alert, and rear cross traffic alert. These are designed to mount at the rear corners of your RV or motorhome. They do work on a radar frequency of 24 gigahertz. Now, the blind spot detection will monitor adjacent lanes for up to 75 feet, and they'll automatically activate when your vehicle exceeds 15 miles per hour. The lane change alert will monitor adjacent lanes and indicate when vehicles are within the warning zone, and they'll activate with the use of turn signals, again, when the vehicle's exceeding 15 miles per hour.
They'll even detect vehicles approaching at high speeds within two seconds of potential impact. And then the rear cross traffic alert, this will monitor for obstacles up to 60 feet behind your vehicle, and they will activate when the vehicle is placed in the reverse. We mentioned these indicators, they are a left and right LED indicator, and they are a pillar mount design, so they do provide audio and visual alerts, and it'll alert you to the side of the warning by blinking and admitting an audible tone. Now, to install this, it is a very simple installation, comes with all the included connectors, all the wiring and harnesses you need, even comes with this OBD-II connector that'll plug into your OBD-II system, works with that diagnostic system to ensure accurate readings, and everything is an automotive grade wiring harness and uses weather tight connectors. Safely change lanes or back up your RV or motorhome when traveling. Advanced radar sensors detect vehicles or pedestrians entering your blind spots, and the pillar-mount LED indicators emit audio and visual alerts to warn of imminent danger. The blind spot monitoring has been very helpful. The service department of my RV dealer must not have enabled the cross traffic alert, because it doesn’t work. None of the companies listed near me would do the installation. I had to wait 6 months to get an appointment to install it.
