Based on guidance from ETrailer service rep., I upgraded to an available 16 to 18.5' quality trailer cover for our 14' boat based on availability. The larger cover protects not only the boat but also the motor and trailer winch. The cover not only fits but works well protecting the entire boat, trailer and motor assembly. The ETrailer support for customers is and always has been top notch in all my purchasing experiences and has resolved all issues.
This was the same cover that I had put on my boat a few years ago. Only that one had a panel that was not treated for waterproofing. The new cover was well treated and seemed to be made with much heavier material. I was very pleased with this cover. The shipping was very fast. I will be ordering replacement wobble rollers for my boat trailer from etrailer.com in the very near future.
Great cover. Just disappointed it is not trailerable. We have a bow mounted trolling motor and power anchor so this cover gaps over the accessories. We have to remove the cover to trailer the boat. Otherwise it is very sturdy and covers well. Also, it would be nice if this length cover had pre-installed pole pockets as it tends to pool rain water when stored outside at marina.

This heavy-duty cover is supposed to be trailerable. With your accessories, you may have to add onto the length and width measurement of your boat. We have this same cover but in a 20-22 foot length which may be helpful to you, item # 052963889581. Also, instead of pockets, this has a support pole that prevents water from pooling.

This boat cover is the 3rd cover I have purchased over a 6 year period for a 16.5 Lowe FM. It's fair being that the boat is towed nearly 3000 miles per year and has rails on the bow which inhibits a tight fit, thus much air gets pushed under the cover while traveling causing it to wear quicker. For the money its a fair trade rather than purchasing a custom fit cover. I'd rate it higher if it were just going to be used as a cover vs. a travel cover. e-trailer's Customer Service team has always been excellent with their consultation on any product I have purchased. Fits perfect and easy to use!Easy to figure out, there is a label marked 'FRONT' in yellow stitched into the cover. Fits snug around the boat below the rub-rail & tightened across the top with the cinch straps. Neutral brown color as in the picture and it is an accurate representation for my boat. It comes with storage bag that makes it smaller than a sleeping bag. Highly recommended!

1st, thank you for rush on delivery(week early) protect my boat from continuous rain.
Cover well constructed and stitched but I wish it would've been a little wider(beam) to better snug bost lower to reduce updraft (strom & trailering). It would reduce scuffing boat hull and the friction on windshield/bimini metal frames. Over all this is not my 1st or be my last Classic Cover. PIC: My 2016 Mazda6 GT wears as well(6yrs old) with moving blankets(hail). Old(boat-cover) 3 or 4 year endured continuous hailstorms and Central Texas Sun. Other brand made 1yr and ripped while trailing 4hr to Rockport Texas.
Very easy buying process
I have purchased this same item at a local sporting goods store in the past so I knew what I was getting. I was pleased with the last cover but I had to build my own support poles because the pole that is supplied with it is low grade plastic and not stout enough to withstand several inches of snow without breaking. I live in Wyoming where the UV rays are intense and the snow is abundant. I expect this cover to last about the same amount of time under these harsh conditions as one that is 3 or 4 times the cost based on past experience with both. In the long run I will save dollars by using this cover. Just plan on building your own support poles.
etrailer did what a good retailer would do and followed thru. The Cover is exactly as ordered. I could say that the cover isn't a perfect fit for my boat, 87 Searay, but does the job. To be any better the cover would have had to be custom made. etrailer shipped the product quickly without any drama or trouble. I would buy from etrailer again.
Good fit but rear clasps drop-off during high winds(stormy days) and center strap slides down windshield allowing slacking/pooling water that needs emptying after every rain. Maybe that why it pops at rear and slacks up at point(bow) moving reinforced padding.

Boat cover fit very well and was easy to install. The straps are attached so no fumbling to get the straps in place.
This boat cover worked perfect for my Lund 16' Rebel. You can't beat the quality at such a good price!
Shipping was very fast. These boat covers are the best of the cheap or non custom ones out there. My voat sits outside in the summer and the storm pro cover is the only one that lasts for years.
Fit's great and easy to put on. Just lasted through a tropical storm with no failures. It comes with one support pole and depending on your boat you'll need more. Mine is a 18.5' open bow boat and required 3 poles total.
Have been using this cover for a year on a 14 foot sailboat, and it weathered one of the worst rain years in California like a champ. a little fading on top (it's California) but it's holding up great.
Boat cover is light and easily manageable. Held up extremely well to snow and ice from Wyoming winters and strong sunshine here at 6550 feet of elevation. So far, awesome cover after one year of wear and tear!
I have a alumacraft 145 tiller fishing boat with a 72" beam. Put the cover on and it really looks good. Nice fit. I can cover the motor also. I would like to show you a picture but I'm not that technical. Thanks etrailer.com for a good price. a good product , and extremely fast shipping. Gene
