Hello, neighbor, Steve here with etrailer.com. Folks, today we're looking at our Classic Accessories, the Stellex V hole fishing boat cover for boats that are 12 to 14 feet long with a 68 inch wide beam. So folks, before we get into the cover itself, I wanna point out, obviously, I'm not gonna be able to put it on a boat, so I'm just gonna give you the best view I possibly can of the product. That being said, how do you measure your boat to see if the cover's gonna fit Well, it's pretty simple. You simply measure the length in a straight line from the tip of the bow to the stern, include any rear deck extensions, platforms, those kind of things. But don't include your bow spirits, rudders, outboard motors, motor brackets, handles, or any other fittings or attachments.

And you don't have to measure up and over the windshield either. As far as the beam, just measure the boats flat width at its widest point, pretty much near the midship area of the boat. One other thing to point out, if your boat is brand new, do not use this product within the first month of owning the boat. Now, as far as the product itself, you're gonna get a nice bag here to hold the cover when you're not using it. So there's kind of an idea about how big the cover is when it's rolled up, somewhere in there.

I pretty much tell people it's pretty much the size of a sleeping bag rolled up, if that gives you an idea. It has a nice draw string here that you can cinch down whenever the cover's in there, and then you can pull it for storage that way. So I'm gonna go ahead and set that outta the way. One thing to note is that the fabric of the cover is pretty much the same fabric as the boat cover itself as well. You've got lots of straps, different straps with buckles on 'em, a nice plastic buckle to make sure that it's holding down tight.

It is gonna provide all season protection for your boat, and it's gonna have an elastic cord inside of here that's gonna run the full bottom hem for a nice tight custom fit around the boat. So there's an idea of that right there. I'm gonna zoom in, maybe you can see a little better. There you go, so that elastic's inside of there, the inside's like a silvery white kind of color or gray. And as you can see here, they've reinforced all the spots where any kind of strap gets stitched into the cover to make it just an extra, extra strong point.

I've actually tugged this pretty hard and I'm pretty impressed with the stitching and all that in there as well. So again, you got the nice elastic inside of there to help hug the boat and keep it all snug and tight. And the fabric itself is a Stellex polyester fabric. It's UV resistant, it's not gonna fade on you, it is water repellent, so it's gonna resist water. Water will just beat up and run off. It's gonna guard against dirt, stains, mildew, those kind of things. It obviously is a blue color. Looking at it in person, I can tell you what you're seeing on the video screen, due to the high def cameras and stuff, it's a slightly different color. I think it's a little lighter in person than what you're looking at there. So just keep that in mind. And again, it has all these straps included in the storage bag.
