Stainless steel S-hooks and buckles give these transom (stern) tie-downs added protection against the elements - even in salt spray. Kwik-Lok buckles have one-hand operation and help maintain strap tension. Polypropylene webbing. 1,000 lbs Max load.

Note: Tie-down straps must be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined WLL of the straps being used. For example, if you are using straps with a WLL of 500 lbs each to tie down a load weighing 1,000 lbs, then you need at least 2 straps to safely secure that load. It is recommended that you always use straps in pairs.
The transom (stern, or rear of your boat) provides important tie-down points for securing your boat to your trailer. These transom straps are intended to be part of a boat tie-down system, and they should always be used along with a bow strap and at least one gunwale strap, for safe trailering.
A tie-down system is only as strong as its weakest link. Heat, humidity, and salt from road treatments or ocean spray all contribute to rust, which causes the hooks and buckles in most tie-downs to weaken, seize, and possibly break. The stainless steel components in these Kwik-Lok transom tie-downs provide maximum corrosion resistance. No more hard-to-open buckles or rusted hooks. In other words, no more weak links.
The Kwik-Lok buckles on these transom straps can be easily opened and closed with one hand, which simplifies the process of tightening the straps down. To release each strap, simply pop open its rustproof stainless steel buckle. Then pull the strap through and snap the buckle down to close it. Each sturdy polypropylene strap is woven through its over-center buckle. So once the buckle is closed, it will help maintain tension on the strap, keeping your boat more firmly secured than with a standard cam buckle.
To protect your boat's paint finish, each ratchet buckle sits on a web pad.

Stainless steel S-hooks and buckles give these transom (stern) tie-downs added protection against the elements - even in salt spray. Kwik-Lok buckles have one-hand operation and help maintain strap tension. Polypropylene webbing. 1,000 lbs Max load.My package shipped the same day! Etrailer will be my first stop for trailer parts from now on.
Excellent product. No signs of any corrosion. Hooks could be a bit more secure if they rounded a full 180 degrees.
Overall excellent, only issue, as noted by other reviewers, is the hooks are "shallow"; the don't securely hook to the eyes on the transom. Should the straps become slightly loose they will become disconnected from the transom eye. I rectified this by adding rubber "stays" on the hooks.
What I ordered
I am using the tie-down strap to hold down my inflatable dingy to the swim platform on my boat. Works perfectly, just as shown. Face it, for long term cruisers, the dingy gets so much attention. By holding it in place on the davit, with such ease, this BoatBuckle has meet our need.
Enjoy!
Took just minutes to install and should not rust lik other brands because they are made of 300 series stainless steel.
Tie downs look to be good quality. I bought them to tie my dinghy down to the swim platform on my large boat. I have not used them yet . I have used etrailer in the past to completely rebuild my triple axle boat trailer and many other things and have always been very pleased.
Thanks
Well constructed, heavy duty SS and the padding behind the clasp and the Velcro straps to secure it once locked are a great - great idea. I used them to strap down boarding ladders on a yacht.
Purchased stainless tie-downs for my boat which is primarily used in salt water. The tie downs arrived quckly after they were ordered, were of high quality, and appear to perform the task for which they were designed.
Just what I ordered- etrailer is the first place I go to for parts and asseseries1
The ordering process is very easy, and I was pleasantly surprised that all the metal components are stainless steel; I did not realize that when ordering.
Product was what I expected. Shipping was free with my order.
Good product, protector not long enough.

One year later and they still look brand new. No sign of corrosion and straps have maintained their integrity. Very secure.
Works as advertised.
I thank you for all your help
Work great!
Won't hold, keep coming loose. I had to go back to my old straps. Now they just sit in a box.
Holding up well. Design is simple and easy to use

Great! It’s worth the extra money to get stainless steel straps. They still look and perform like new.
