Loop the hook end of the strap around your trailer's frame and through the loop end. Once your boat is loaded, attach the hook to the tie-down anchor on the bow of your boat. Pull the other loop end of the strap to remove any slack and turn the Kwik-Lok buckle down to tighten the strap.
Note: A bow tie-down should always be used along with a winch strap and a set of transom or gunwale tie-downs. All straps and cables should be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). To determine the maximum load, or break strength, of the strap, simply multiply the WLL by 3. The WLL is always one-third (1/3) of the maximum load.

I always use these to tie the bow on to the trailer. I just don't trust the winch strap as they seem to come a little loose after you have driven down the road a little way. This strap always keeps the bow snugged up tight against the bow stop on the trailer. Very cheap and good insurance against your boat and trailer parting company on the road!

The BoatBuckle Pro Series Kwik-Lok Bow Tie-Down Strap was easy to install. I connected it to my boat bow and trailer. It really stabilized the bow to the trailer tongue. I tow my boat to several ramps and it’s good to know that the boat is secured for towing. My bow on the boat tended to pounce a little and installing the BoatBuckle Pro Series Kwik-Lok Bow Tie-Down Strap secure it.
I am using this on a 2014 Phoenix 618 boat. My trailer has a large bow step on the front that challenged me at first to find a way to mount. I lucked out and found I can take both straps directly to the center Ibeam of the trailer. Doing this I can perfectly fit this and just perfectly close the latch. Like it was built for my boat.
4 stars simply because it was not obvious to me how the device is to be used if you need to take up slack line. May be a user issue.

Works great...good quality!
Got this to supplement the front winch strap. I believe it helps hold the front end down better along with the winch. Straps on easily once you remember which way it wraps around itself.
Plenty of length and strength. Sturdy mechanism. Higher quality strap than the original equipment which came with the trailer & boat.

This has been an excellent replacement part. Works well, looks good, and gives peace of mind. Would buy again.
Boat buckles for gunnel and bow tie down fit the bill perfectly. Easy to apply and adds security to the boat on trailer.
Easy to use strap adds security to bow. Over center cam buckle tightens strap. Loop on strap secures to trailer where ever is best.
Strap won't cinch tight
Very quick shipping and was the one of the only sites that had it in stock. The Kwik-Loc buckle gets the strap very tight and is easily released.
Purchased both the bow strap and gunwale together.

It works, but I think it could be bette r.
I installed but does not hold my boat in place, not able to tighten enough to help. Need stronger product.

This strap should definitely be tight for you. Was the other strap that was ordered also loose? I can send over the warranty instructions for it.
