Today we're going to take at the CE Smith galvanized narrow V-wing steel bolster bracket for pontoon boat trailers. Now, this is a heavy-duty bracket that allow you to mount two bunk boards on your pontoon boat trailer. This mounts on your boat trailer's frame or cross member, and it'll stabilize bunk boards when at least two brackets are used. This part if for a quantity of one. The short bracket wings will surround and stabilize the narrow pontoons, and then the deep cradle will keep your boat's pontoons from jostling side to side. The slotted mounting hole here on the base allows for easy adjustment along your frame during installation.
They do use an 11 gauge galvanized steel construction, sturdy and corrosion resistant. It's ideal for saltwater use.The mounting hardware is sold separately. This part is made in the USA. This is for a quantity of one bracket. Application is for four inch wide bunk boards.
Maximum length, which will be from this edge to this edge, is probably right at 11 and three-quarter inches. The base length, probably right at eight and a half inches. Galvanized steel material is ideal for saltwater use.The parts were well coated. 1 of the 8 was bent but we were able to straighten and use . They appear to be plenty strong.These should do the job of carrying my pontoon with out issue. I’ll find out next week.
Great quality; quick shipping.
Two brackets were fine - just about perfect in fact. The other two, not so much: compared to the good ones, they appeared to have been bent at some point after manufacture and required a fair amount of massaging (as in, it took a large vise and large steel mallet to straighten them) before they could be used.

This bracket is well-designed and quality-manufactured. After a year of use, I would give it five stars!
These brackets are very sturdy and exactly what I needed for pontoon bunks on a trailer. One of the brackets arrived bent, and etrailer promptly sent me replacement so I could complete my trailer/bunks. Highly recommend and would buy again.
The bolster bracket was very sturdy and easy to install.
They were heavy duty and were substantial support for the carpeted beds. They replaced the rusted out brackets on my trailer. I was very pleased with the product.
