This carpeted bunk board provides bow support for your johnboat or flat-bottom boat during transport and storage. The 2-foot-long board is wrapped in weather-resistant, marine-grade carpet. And the galvanized steel mounting bracket allows you to attach the bunk anywhere along the tongue of your boat trailer to fit the length of your boat. Holes along the length of the mounting bracket allow you to position the board from 5-1/2 to 8 inches above the trailer frame.
Galvanized Steel
Steel parts are galvanized by being hot-dipped in zinc after they have been stamped. This creates a coating that is typically 3 mm to 5 mm thick. This thick, all-around coating allows galvanized steel products to provide years of use without rusting or corroding.

Used this to connect the 2 7 foot bunks to the front and stabilize the raft. I used thru holes and bolts to mount the bunk. Also used lag bolts rather than the lag screws in all my bunks because it's easier to use a wrench versus a screwdriver. These are visible in the pictures.

Perfect for my 14' Tracker Topper. I purchased a used trailer that was for a V-Hull so I needed a little bit extra support for my flat-bottom jon boat and this did the trick. Very Very happy!

I purchased this set of bunks to replace the set on my trailer that is over 15 years old. For the price they appear to be great. Well made.
Installation took about 45 minutes for both. That includes removing the old set, new hardware and mounting the new.
With the new bunks it made unloading and loading my boat very simple. Thank you E-trailer.

I recently purchased two sets of bunks boards for my trailer. Although I have not installed them yet, they seem to be of good quality and I am initially very happy with them. I am most impressed with the etrailer web site and how easy it was to order and how fast it was shipped and delivered. Since it was shipped to Canada I expected it to be delivered in 10 days and it was delivered in 3 days. I will definitely use etrailer again.

First off, I want to say that the products that I ordered from etrailer.com were of high quality and were easy to install, and lets not forget about the fast shipping and my favorite - the personal touch added to the email communications where each one is signed by a human (rather than something generic).
My project itself entailed replacing the two (original) vertical mount 4' bunks on my boat trailer (see the attached pictures). These were set-up to hold a 15' sailboat. I recently purchased a 12' (plastic) jon boat, and I felt that the jon boat needed better support on the trailer so that it didn't warp or dent.
After doing a lot of research, I decided to go with two horizontal mount 6' bunks. They were pre-finished at a cost less than if I were to purchase the individual components (wood, glue, carpet, staples, etc.) and do the assembly work myself. Attaching the hardware and mounting them to the trailer was a snap - see the attached pictures for the finished setup.
