Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com, and today we're gonna take a look at this Westin Fay Chrome Plated Steel Surestep Deluxe XLT Rear Bumper. Now, this replacement rear bumper is going to give you a sturdy step, so you can access the bed of your truck with ease. And this is also going to match the factory specifications to fit your truck styling, and it adds both utility and rugged good looks. Now, as you can see here, this bumper does feature a chrome plating that's going to add a brilliant shine and also help resist corrosion. And the cold rolled steel construction is indeed strong and sturdy.

This has a towing capacity of 8,000 pounds and a tongue weight capacity of 800 pounds. And, giving you a close up look here in the center, as you can see, we have these three integrated ball holes that's going to make towing easy. You're just going to add a hitch ball that will fit a one inch in diameter hole. And there are also these convenient safety chain cutouts on each side. Now, taking an overhead look, I wanted to just briefly point out the black textured step pad that's going to give you traction when you're getting into and out of your truck bed.

The molded polymer plastic construction is durable. It's also UV resistant. And this padding actually wraps around the entire corners for complete coverage. Going in for another closeup look here, this does include license plate lights that are going to wire into your running lights. And so, as you can see, these are just going to fit here, and then be secured by these brackets on the inside of this bumper.

So you have what you need here to wire those lights into place to shine on your license plate. It, obviously, is gonna go right here. And just some overall measurements to give you an idea of the size of this bumper. I measured this earlier before our time together, and the overall length from end to end, we're sitting right at 74 and half inches long. And then the overall height, we're sitting right at eight and a half inches tall.

And then the overall depth, we're sitting right at about six and a half inches deep. Now, installation does require a custom no-drill mounting kit, which can be found under the related product section on the lower half of this product page.
