Jeff: Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a look at this Taylor Made 74 inch long mast mooring pickup buoy. Now this pickup buoy will assist in letting you anchor your boat to a mooring. You bring the buoy aboard your boat to easily access the mooring buoys pennant line, and there's no need to connect the line directly to the mooring buoy.This is also ideal for all diving applications and this is a 74 inch tall fiberglass mast, which is flexible. And it's very easy to grab from your boat's deck.
What's nice is they do use a PVC layer on this mast and that'll help prevent fiberglass slivers, so you don't get anymore cuts or splinters when you go to grab your mast.Does use a sealed urethane foam flow here, which will displace the water for ideal flotation and buoyancy, and many years of service. And at the very bottom, right down here, if I can get you to see here, it has a nice durable HDPE coated cast metal weight, which is corrosion resistant and non-marring, so there's no marking up your boat's hull as you're bringing your buoy aboard.This part is made in the USA. A few dimensions on this again. Overall height from the bottom to the very top is 74 inches. The diameter on it is about five sixteenths of an inch.

It does exactly what it is ment for…..but the weight in the water could be a bit heavier
