Today, we're going to take a look at the Taylor Made 49" tall Sur-Mark Regulatory Marker Buoy, in the white color. Now this Marker Buoy will float on the water surface and it's to alert any boaters or swimmers of any hazards that might be in that area of the water. Does include these two adhesive orange warning labels that you can wrap around the bottom and one at the top. Now, we do also offer other larger warning labels. They are available and they'll attach to this buoy to notify boaters or swimmers of any specific water hazards. And again, they're sold separately on our website and we list them on this product page as a related product.

And it offers a slow no wake label, a swim area label, a keep out label and a danger label. So I happened to pull one of the labels, just to show you what we're talking about.This is the Slow No Wake, and they have an adhesive backing on it. And when you order these, they do come as a set of two. One for each side of the buoy. But basically what you would do is just peel off that adhesive backing, line it up on the buoy, and then wrap it around there and put the one on the other side.

On the buoy itself, at the very bottom right down here, it uses an internal concrete ballast, has a large collar ring right here, which will keep the buoy floating upright at about 39 inches above the water. Makes it very easy to spot. You do at the very bottom, you can see the islet down here. You actually secure a anchor chain to recess the galvanized I at the bottom of the buoy.Now the anchor chain it is not included, you would have to supply that.

The I diameter that that chain goes through is about one and three quarter inches. Now the construction on this buoy, it's a durable, single piece, seamless construction. It does use a closed-cell foam that won't absorb any water and it's polyethylene molded outer shell is UV resistant. It is also compatible with solar powered led lights for maximum visibility. There's a light that you could attach to the very top.

If I turn this down, you can probably see. Right up here where there's plugins, you could actually put the light up in there and it'd be a solar powered light. And again, we do sell that item separately on our website and it's part number 36946106.You can see the buoy is a nice white color. It is made in the USA. The total height from the very bottom to the very top is 49 inches. The diameter of the buoy up here is 10 inches. The collar ring we mentioned is 18 inch diameter. So when this is floating, it's going to be visible about 39 inches above the water. The buoyancy on this is 40 pounds, and this will stand up right for storage, wherever you're going to store them.
