Video Transcript for etrailer Tie Down Straps Review

These etrailer cam buckle straps are going to be a perfect addition to your truck, trailer or cargo carrier. You can get them in a quantity of 1, 2 or 4, to customize the needs for your haul. The 13 foot strap is going to be great for even your bulky items, such as our generator here. We we're able to go all the way across our cargo carrier and back, ensuring it's nice and secure. The safe working load limit is 293 pounds, while the maximum load or break strength is 880 pounds and that's per strap. For a look at them in action, we took it out on our test course. On our test course, we'll take it over some bumps, so you can see how it'll handle on rough and uneven surfaces and then into our slalom, so you can see how it handles under evasive maneuvers.A couple of cool things you're going to like, is our personal etrailer touches with our neoprene cover to help prevent any scratches or abrasions from the cam buckle, as well as the integrated elastic strap to tie up that excess.

The straps themselves are made of a durable polyester webbing that's going to be abrasion resistant. Our customers compare these to ProGrips cam buckle straps and while the ProGrips are very similar, they're a little bit wider, but they have less of a capacity at only 200 pounds. Additionally, you don't get the small features, like the neoprene cover for the buckle or the elastic band to hold up your excess. They're super easy to operate, simply wrap it around whatever you want to tie down, slide your strap through and then you just pull it tight. This will cinch whatever you're hauling down, so it ain't going anywhere. If you have more excess than this, you can wrap it up and secure it in the elastic band.

Holds a step ladder to the trailer roof ladder when traveling.Saved a lot of space in storage area.

by:

Buckle holds good and good protection if it comes in contact with the product is it tying down.

by:

Really nice cinch straps. We used them the day they arrived and they worked very well holding our kayaks in place on top of our vehicle. I like the handy elastic loop that holds the strap together when it is wound up, and the buckle protectors are nice too. Great product.

by:

Straps worked very well. Used to secure ice chest.

by:

Perfect for securing my soft rooftop carrier using front and back cross rails since my CX5 has flush side rails.

by:

The tie-down straps worked as advertised, they were quick and easy to install I especially liked the South protector for the buckle.

I am amazed how professional this company is . Great products at very fair prices. I had a missing part, called and it was sent out priority mail the next day. TOP NOTCH!! A little hard to get through sometimes but well worth the wait

by:

Love these and use them all the time. So much quicker than a ratchet strap for light duty lashing.

Review from a similar Cam Buckle - Padded Buckle in Cam Buckle Straps

Light and very flexible, strong enough for anything I've needed so far, tying down a canoe and small loads of lumber.

The straps have held up well and are more useful than I originally expected

Review from a similar Cam Buckle - Padded Buckle in Cam Buckle Straps

I have used the straps a few times now and they have worked as expected. The are cam buckle straps. Used them when helping my in-laws move and helped to tidy up some of the stuff on the trailer. We were moving tool boxes so I didn't use them as the main tie down, but they worked well to help keep everything contained and all the drawers closed. I typically use these to tie down my stand up paddleboards. They work very well for that, the protective cover on the buckle is a nice addition to keep it from damaging whatever you are strapping down. The keeper strap doesn't really help to tie up the excess strap while they are in use, there is not enough tension in them. But the elastic keeper strap is great for storage. My favorite thing about these over the old set I was replacing is that they wrap up and the keeper strap keeps them contained. They can go in the bin in the back of my 4runner and are ready when I need them. They don't become a tangled mess that annoys me.

Review from a similar Cam Buckle - Padded Buckle in Cam Buckle Straps

These straps are economical and work great. I use them to cinch down gas cans on the front of a watercraft trailer.

Comments
Still great and a nice alternative to rope and, for lighter loads, ratcheting tie downs.

The 6' length of the BoatBuckle Personal Watercraft Cam Buckle Tri-Down Strap # IMF10972BK is of the strap itself from one end hook to the other end hook. We do have this slightly longer in 8' with part # IMF14218. We do have the etrailercom Cam Buckle Cinch Strap # E98876 which is 1" wide x 13' long which is more like the length you are looking for. This is also available in a quantity of 2 with part # E98876-2 or 4 with part # E98876-4. Attached is a link to our selection of tie-downs...

  • Kayak Carrier Recommendation for a 2014 Kia Optima with a Naked Roof
The Malone Foam Block Kayak Carrier part # MPG152 will fit on to naked roofs like what you have on your 2014 Kia Optima so it would work well to carry your 10 foot kayak. This is a great, economic way to carry a kayak without having to also install an expensive roof rack. For straps you will need the # E98876-2 as well. Be sure to check the owners manual of your Optima to determine the roof capacity.

  • How Long of Straps to Use to Secure Canoe to Roof Rack
The length of the Rhino-Rack Cam Buckle Cinch Straps # RRRTD35P that you mentioned is 11-1/2 feet which is pretty close to the length of the canoe straps we sell like part # E98876-2 which are 13 feet long. I'd recommend going with the # E98876-2 but if you wanted to use the Rhino Rack it should work fine.

  • Does Thule Stacker Kayak Carrier Fit 2020 Chevy Blazer
Yes it will! Your 2020 Chevy Blazer does have the appropriate distance between the crossbars so you can mount the Thule kayak carrier, which is the following part: - Thule The Stacker - Rooftop Multi-Kayak Carrier # TH830 This post-style kayak carrier will give you a really easy way to haul up to four kayaks at once on top of your 2020 Chevy Blazer. This carrier comes with enough straps for one kayak, so in order to carry a pair, you will also need more cinch straps and tie-downs: -...

I've attached a video to assist with this application. I also recommend using a hitch lock like # e98880 which can be keyed alike to secure this rack and etrailer Cam Buckle Cinch Straps # E98876-2 which have the neoprene cover guard to protect your kayak. • Weight of Rola Roof Rack that Fits 2010 Ford Edge
The Rola roof rack part number # 59770 that you referenced weighs right at 9 lbs. This is a confirmed fit for your 2010 Ford Edge with a naked roof as well. I'd go with a the 75 lb kayak though as you also need to factor in the weight of the carrier you would decide to mount on the rack as well. For a carrier the Thule Hull a Port part # TH834 is a really great option too. It only weighs 9 lbs as well so it would fit in with the weight capacity you have and is easier to install and load...

  • Will the Thule Xsporter # TH500XTB Fit a 2017 Ram 1500s 5-1/2 Ft. Bed with Liner?
Yes, the Thule Xsporter Pro Adjustable Height Truck Bed Ladder Rack # TH500XTB will fit on your 2017 Ram 1500's 5-1/2 foot bed (without Rambox) with a bed liner. Since the j-hook attachments on the ladder rack extend just below the truck bed rails, it will not interfere with the liner of the truck.
