Michael: Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the Arc Drop Down Corner RV Stabilizing Jack Set. This is going to include two of these stabilizing jacks, which will install onto your camper to help stabilize the chassis so that you don't have to worry about the chassis moving around as much. It's going to make it nice and secure for you. These jacks do retract out to a total height of right about 30 and a half inches, so just about two and a half feet. And so it'd give you a lot of option there. When you retract them fully, they're going to be right about 19 and a half inches.
So you can see the height difference that you're going to have there between fully retracted and fully extended. These do have nice wide feet so that they're not going to sink into the ground if you have them on soft earth. There are right about six inches wide by six inches tall. And they do pivot like that. So even if you're on un-level terrain, they'll work for you very well.On the top here, you can see are weld-on plates. This can be removed.
You can simply remove the nut and bolt that's holding it in place. This is what you're going to use to attach to your camper. Now, keep in mind, this is the plate that's going to be welded on. As you can see, it is removable. So if something we're to happen with the jack and it needed to be replaced, you could simply unscrew the jack, leave this welded in place rather than having to break your weld, and then just replace the jack.
Another option for you, if you don't like for weld-on option, you can discard this plate, drill holes through the top of the jack here, and then just bolt it in place on your camper. Obviously that's not the way that it was intended to be used, but we have seen some success with that method. So keep that in mind if you would prefer not to weld. But this is an option for you. So you can do it either way.And it's very easy to get these bolts and nuts back into place.
This uses a 13 millimeter wrench and socket. Another nice thing about these jacks is our pivoting bracket here. So it's got a nice large handle. So once we have this installed, we can simply pull out on that and it will allow us to adjust the angle of our jack so we can have it in the stowed position like so when we're traveling, then when we get to our campsite, pull out on that, and it will allow us to adjust to different angles if we need, or we continue to pull out, and this is a little bit difficult for me because I don't have it mounted onto a camper chassis. Once you have it mounted, it should be a little bit easier for you. You'll have something to pull against, but as you can see, it does have different angle adjustments to it, as we go along here. And there we have our upright, as we want it. We can bend that handle down and then use our crank handle. And this is going to be very easy to retract and extend our jack. One really nice thing about this is once we have it retracted, we can put our foot plate in the up position and then just takes a little bit more retracting and that foot plate is going to be locked in position so we're not going to have to worry about it rattling around causing a lot of noise as we travel. And they do have these little pads here, so that prevents any metal on metal contact between our foot and our leg. So it should be a very nice, quiet, secure ride for us. And then when we get to our campsite, very easy again to just extend this back down, and then that foot will be free to be at whatever angle we need it to be.This does have a black powder coat on it. So it's going to help resist rust and corrosion, make it very durable, give you a lot of stability while you're out and about in your camper. So that's going to complete our look for today. Again, I'M Michael with etrailer.com. If you need some stabilizing jacks, I'd say these are going to be a great option for you. Thanks for watching.

Minimize chassis movement in your camper with this stabilizer kit. Corner steadies have locking swivel brackets and large grip handles for easy swiveling. Large, flat, load-bearing feet are ideal for soft ground. Winding handle included.Works perfectly to level my off road trailer/camper. Gives my camper a solid footing on any terrain. Easy to mount and operate. They fold up tightly against the frame and don't affect ground clearance whatsoever. Would buy again.
These Ark jacks do exactly what I need them to. Their construction is very good and were simple to mount in my application. The reason they get 3 stars is because the finish may be a coating manufacturer-rated 600-HR powder coat, but Ark is not properly preparing the metal and applying this coating. Within a couple of months, my jacks were showing rust between the telescoping sections. This is not typical for quality powder coat! Now, I need to refinish them after just over a year since mounting them on my trailer. I paid more to get the black finish, but it's not holding up.
Much better solution than the standard scissor jacks. Well worth the money.
The product quality is great, but I was very disappointed that immediately after my purchase, ARK released a new version that's capable of lifting the trailer which made this version obsolete.
There junk
Great replacements for standard OEM jac ks
Work perfectly
Great Product. I was replacing a Ark Corner Steady on my Xventure trailer. I used it lift my trailer using a impact gun to extend it. I overtorwued it and broke it. Also it’s not rated to lift, only stabilize. I replaced both with black colored that match my trailer better.
I really like the quality of the Ark products. These did not disappoint

Review from a similar Drop Down Corner Jack in Camper Jacks
I've built my 6X12 enclosed utility trailer for hauling my motorcycle, and camping in it when out riding. Replaced the rear jacks with the cheapest thing I could find after ripping them off once. Decided it was time for some quality replacements, and saw these ARK units on etrailer.
Worth every penny when I opened the box.
Made a project day out of the install and I am very happy now. Welded on the brackets (supplied) and found that I don't even need a tire jack for the trailer anymore. These lift the trailer wheel completely off the ground if needed.
Heading to Death Valley next month to try them out in the field.
Thank you etrailer once again.

I put the jacks on an over lander trailer I built to be pulled by my Atv. The jacks worked excellent to prevent side to side movement.

Love these stabilizer jacks. The only thing I wish is it was able to lift and not just stabilize. It would be nice for changing tires on my small off road trailer.

The stabilizer jack is rugged and durable and does a great job of stabilizing my camping trailer. I use the manual hand crank but it takes a lot of turns to crank it up and down. I plan on getting an adapter for my battery operated drill to use instead of the hand crank.
