Specs:
A trailer jack is designed to lift the tongue of your trailer so you can connect the trailer coupler to your hitch ball. To do this, you'll need a jack with a lift capacity high enough to handle your trailer's tongue weight.
Tongue weight is the amount of weight that your trailer applies to the back of your tow vehicle. Typically, your tongue weight should be 10-15% of your total trailer weight (trailer + cargo). In other words, a 10,000-lb trailer would have a tongue weight between 1,000 lbs and 1,500 lbs. For a trailer this size, you would need a jack with a lift capacity of at least 1,500 lbs.
It's okay to have a jack with a weight rating that is higher than your trailer's tongue weight. In fact, a jack with a higher lift capacity should operate more efficiently, allowing you to spend less time cranking and more time camping.
Every jack offers a certain amount of lift or travel. Screw travel is the distance the jack extends when you crank it (or toggle it to "extend" on an electric model). Some jacks include a drop leg for extra adjustability. On these jacks, you'll see the maximum extension of the drop leg listed in the specs as well. Adding the screw travel and drop leg travel together will give you the total lift. The total lift listed above can help you determine how high this jack will be able to raise your trailer.

It has enough power to raise the trailer when connected to the truck to get the anti sway bars attached. Sure beats all that hand cranking.
The alternate power setup makes its slow rate of rise necessary which would be good if my lithium batteries went low. To avoid battery problems be sure to add an inline battery disconnect from the trailer power when using tow vehicle power. I simple added an inline fuse that could be removed should I need to use the tow vehicle power.
I was amazed at how quickly my replacement from etrailer arrived. I was a bit worried that the installation of my new jack would be more difficult that I expected. The reverse proved to be the case, it was very simple to place the trailer tongue on jack stands, remove the old jack and install the new one. As the old saying goes "even a cave man could do it."
Awesome product. My back thanks you. Very easy to install. Only thing I would change is the speed of the motor. A bit slow but still better than hand cranking.
Installation was very easy. Works fine when using battery power. I have never gotten the jack to work using the accessory power cable hooked to the back of my truck. Not sure if it's a problem with the cable, jack or whatever.
Also, the jack seems to move more slowly than the last one I had, which was also lippert.
Had preformed better than the original.
It works great for pre loading equalizer hitch on the heavy race trailer.
Terrible, product doesn't work, etrailer refuses to allow will call for local customers

But we do have Will Call available for local customers. It all depends on what you are looking for. Are you wanting to come in purchase something and pick it up? Then no, that service is not available due to our new additional warehouses that we have now. There is no guarantee that the part you are needing is in our Will Call location. So, we do not offer local pick up anymore. However, you are definitely free to come into our Vehicle Consultation Center for some assistance in getting the parts that you are needing ordered.
I have used the unit 5 times - the power for the 7 prong no longer works and I have hardwired it into my battery.
If you have a hatchback (Toyota Sequoia), the unit protrudes too far and you will not be able to open your trunk door unless you disconnect your trailer first.
Jack was easy to install and works as expected. Much easier than cranking by hand. I would recommend.
Jack never worked. Didn't install for a few months so I didn't try to return. Pig tail appeared to be wired wrong, black wire was hot, black on my truck is ground.
Very happy with purchase. When jack arrived the rubber plug on top was missing in the package, I sent a quick email and had the parts within 2 days! Great service Thank you!
I’ve only used it a few times,it looks hardy and operates well. It was definitely worth the money.
Nice addition to my RPod 180, install was fast and easy, the up and down are a little slower than I hoped for but still moves faster than you can crank with the OEM jack. Very pleased with form/fit/quality, communication from etrailer was stellar.
It bolted right into the previous bracket. The bolt pattern is a triangle. The install took an hour. It works great so far, very quiet.
Jack was easy to install, fit perfectly. Like others who have commented, it’s a bit slow, but in no way does it take away from the product. It’s faster than me straining my arm and shoulder doing it. It looks and feels like a very good jack. All parts were included and are also of good quality. As every order I have made, service was excellent and better than other companies, no matter the industry. Good price as well. Thanks!
It was a breeze to attach it to my travel trailer and worked flawlessly. Makes my job of setting up stress free.
Sorry, sold trailer/w jack
The power plug is very flimzy the prongs are made with very soft metal and bend very easly.
Works great on my 34ft Avion. I would recomend anytime
Jack came in earlier than expected and worked great on our trailer, all you have to do is hit the button!!
Easy to install and came in 2 days ahead of original delivery date. I have only used it once and I am happy with it. It is slow but not noisy and sure beats cranking my old manual one.

Thank you for your review. I would test the 1 oclock position of your 7-way on the vehicle with a circuit tester, like item # 40376, which is the 12v power circuit. It should show active all of the time. If it is not active then the jack will not be powered by the 7-way plug, so we would need to figure out why, which is more than likely a blown fuse.
