Custom-fit camper tie-downs permanently mount to your truck's body to distribute the weight of your camper and limit movement in all directions. Low-profile attachment points are discrete and anchors remove for a clean look.
Features:
The HappiJac Direct-to-Frame design ensures proper distribution of your camper's weight and helps prevent your camper from moving in all directions for a safe and secure ride. The 2 front braces attach to your truck's frame and provide reinforcement for the front tie-downs, which attach through the bed wall. The rear tie-downs attach to the 2 corners of your rear bumper. Already, this sets them apart from stake-pocket-mounted tie-downs, which secure the entire load of your camper to the tops of your bed rails, forming a top-heavy setup that can create an uncomfortable and unnatural ride.
Holding the camper taut at the 4 corners - as opposed to along the sides of your bed, like you'd find with other tie-down systems - helps to reduce any front-to-back shifting of your camper during travel.
When you're not hauling your camper, you don't have to worry about bulky brackets sticking out of your truck, creating an eyesore or hazard. The front braces remain permanently installed under your truck bed. The front tie-down brackets attach to the braces, and the rear brackets attach to the corners of your rear bumper. All 4 anchors can be removed from each bracket and anchor bolt with a quick quarter-turn, leaving a clean, discrete look.
HappiJac components are constructed of sturdy steel for a reliable and stable ride. The powder coated front braces and chrome-plated front and rear anchors both resist rust and corrosion.

Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the Happy Jack anchor tie-downs for your truck bed camper. This is going to allow you to get your Ford equipped to haul a sliding camper. It's going to provide four attachment points so that you can secure all four corners of your camper to your truck so you don't have to worry about any side to side, front to back or up and down movement. It's going to be nice and secure in your truck bed.
This is custom fit for many different 2004 through 2011 Ford F-150 truck packages. I would recommend checking the fit guide on our product page to make sure that it's going to work with your specific package. It's going to include four of these tie down couplers, two support brackets, the installation hardware and of course your instructions so that you can get it all secured ready to go.The front support brackets are going to attach to your truck's cross member, which is going to give you added strength over other systems which might just tie down to the truck bed itself. It's going to give you a much more secure attachment point for your camper. You also have the rear attachment anchors that install on the end of your truck's bumper.
Again, so that you have all four corners covered. This is made of steel, so it's going to hold up very well. It's going to be nice and secure. You're not going to have to worry about it cracking or breaking or anything like that. It is made here in the USA and it comes with a one year warranty from Happy Jack. Now while you're getting this system, I would recommend thinking about how you're going to attach your camper to your tie downs.
If you don't already have a plan in place, I would recommend one of Happy Jack's two turn buckle options. It's a very simple device. One end is going to hook up to your camper. The other end is going to hook up to your tie down points on your truck. The turnbuckle is going to allow it to spin so that you can tighten it down where you need it.
You have this, which is the original option. You can find this here at etrailer using part number LC182898.Or they also have the Happy Jack quick load turnbuckle here. The quick load referring to the fact that it's got all the same features as the original, but it's also got this handle here that's going to allow you to more quickly and easily connect. So you can screw this in as far as you need to tighten it down. And then if you need to unload, you can quickly lift that up and detach. You can find this here at E trailer using part number LC182895. That's going to complete our look at the Happy Jack's anchor tie-downs for your truck bed campers.

I will need to take them off an wire wheel the rust off of them this summer. Minnesota winters.
Fairly easy installation, drilling a few holes was the hardest part. Good instructions. Looks sturdy.
