Best product for overhead camper tie-downs period. Instructions could use a little more detail and/clearer picture, but installation was relatively easy and only took approx. 2hrs to install. Much more secure than bed/bumper or stake pocket type tie downs.
The TLC2205 front camper frame mount fit like a glove on my 2004 2500 HD Chevy.Going to get the torklift super hitch next and the rear torklift camper mounts that bolt to the super hitch.etrailer is a great place to buy from.Going to get a lot more things for my truck. Have not actually used them yet, but they are sturdy and well positioned, and the installation was fairly easy, although I had to grind a very small (less than 1/8') off the bottom of the passenger side plate that goes inside the frame in order to get both bolts in. I don't have a camper yet, but may get the rear tie-downs, depending on size and weight of what I get. Will use bumper brackets for now. I did not think the bed mount type of tie-down would be enough for anything but a very light camper, and the through the bed into the frame type didn't appeal to me much. Not having to drill any holes was a plus, although I would have done it if necessary to get the strength I wanted. Although these tie-downs mount in a somewhat unusual way, I think they will be very functional, strong, and convenient.
End result was great. The existing bolts that have to be removed to mount each support arm can be quite rusty. I recommend hosing them down with penetration fluid and waiting 24 hours until trying to remove. Clever "drilless" mounting scheme. Will work very well.
Super satisfied with the tie-downs. No drilling required. They are almost invisible when not in use. I am also very happy with etrailer's customer service. Excellent communication on order status and tracking. Looking forward to shopping with you again.
you are misleading on your shipping times,and when i enter my vehicle description you dont give me the correct options to choose from and i have to call your rep to get the proper part ordered.
The tie downs are very well built and fit perfectly. Once I figured things out installation was fairly easy; however, the instructions were almost useless which made installation harder than it had to be.
Those tie downs kick butt. I put them on my chevy Silverado 2500 and put in my 8-foot slide in camper. Then I took it over some very extreme conditions to go moose hunting in northern Manitoba. Despite all that was thrown at my truck the camper didn’t budge . I would recommend them to anyone interested in purchasing them.
Great tie downs never had any problems keeping my truck camper secure. The instructions that came with them were not very good it took me several tries to get them oriented correctly. I wish they had clearer pictures in their instructions. The ones provided were blurry and not clear.
These are built darn good. The metal is much thicker than you'd think or expect. You can bolt these on both sides in an hour easily. Fitment is awesome...Nicely done. Now lets see how they hold up!
The Tork lift camper tie downs are perfect. Very solid and easy to use, the installation instructions are pretty vague but once you look at it it is pretty self-explanatory?. Etrailer shipped them fast and free. Very happy camper here!!!

Perfect fit. Very strong and secure. The leaf spring bolt on my 2017 F350 could only be loosened by a local diesel mechanic. The Ford dealership and corporate repair shops wouldn’t loosen it for me due to their liability concerns. The bolts that you need to feed through with the wire leads are a bit tricky. Be sure you have something like vise grips to clam onto the bolt once it is in place before you remove the wire. You don’t want it to drop back down into the frame. You also need to hold onto the end of the bolt while you hand tighten the nut until the star washer can bite enough to keep it from spinning. Then you can crank it down with your ratchet. All in all, the instructions were very good and complete. I was able to do the installation myself with just the one trip to get the passenger side leaf spring bolt started. I look forward to many years of camping with my unit securely tied down to my truck. Thanks!

I had the mountings professionally attached to the frame. The hatches can be easily removed when not in use( and I would recommend that to keep them from being stolen). Using chains and turnbuckles, I feel very comfortable with my truck camper staying where it is.. does not rock, very solid. It’s nice to feel secure about my camper staying firmly attached. It was worth the investment.

4 stars, just cause of the written instructions. Could be clearer. Product Review: F2016, 2012 Ford F250 extended cab 8' bed I really like the Torklift front tiedowns. I didn't feel I had the skill to fab the front tiedowns. The rear however, are rather simple. 2 1/2" 1/4" wall square pipe slips inside the factory hitch receiver. I used 27" lengths. The factory Ford hitch receiver curves towards the rear axle. Drilled and tapped thru receiver and pipe to hold it. Happy with the quick service from etrailer.com!
