Ready your truck to haul a camper with these sturdy tie-downs. Inserts slide into frame-mounted brackets for use and easily remove for a clean, unobtrusive look. Custom designed for your vehicle.Wish it could have been designed where you wouldn't have to remove front turn buckle blocking fuel cap.2000 f250 ext.cab LB 7.3l. but not too much of a problem though. Well worth the piece of mind.seems a bit pricey though.wouldnt pay anymore.
Your salesman (Adam) was a 5 star your product a 4 had to customize back tie down Also overly expensive bills for 4 hunks of metal Give Adam a raise (very professional)
Bought front& back frame mount tie-downs & fast guns, love this setup. Not hard to install, all holes lined up, no drilling, especially like the spring wire that helps you install the bolt in the frame rail by the fuel tank. Good job etrailer for getting me the right parts
Arrived a couple days early. Video was very helpful for the front frame mount...but no video was available to rear mount.
I bought my first set of torklift camper tiedowns 15 years ago. I am sure glad I did. I'm doing it again on another vehicle. They make traveling with a camper safe and secure. Also, they are not difficult to install. Delivery from etrailer was smooth and on time !
Every piece fit but one, I had to cut off a side on the left that hit the frame.
I received my product much quicker than I thought and talking to the guys over the phone were very helpful
I purchased this tie down system as a gift for my son. I have the same unit(s) on my own truck so I know how tough the tie downs are. I've been using the same set for some 17 years without a problem. I have no doubt that son will enjoy the same with the set I got him.
Fit as advertised, relatively easy to install. Excellent step by step instructions. No bad glitches !
Overall excellent quality & great finish.
Exactly what we wanted. Installation was pretty easy for me, a 70's year old, and my wife provided her skillful assistance. We got about eight thousand miles on our damper last year.
Pre installation look over looks fairly easy install
Quick and easy!
Shipped all wrong products. Very disapp ointed
I got the front and rear TorkLift camper mounts for my 2001 f350 crew cab. With the factory tow hitch. They work perfectly fit is perfect both the front and rear bolted right on and were easy to install. Directions are very clear and love that they have some pictures too. I would one hundred percent recommend to anyone with this style truck. One thing that is a little tough to install is the lower left bolt on driver side next to gas tank. In directions it says to use feed wire to feed bolt in from bottom and into place. I found it was better to pull it from over the top of the frame and back down to the hole. You will still need to push a little on the gas tank but it works better from top down. It looks like there are some vent tubes or break lines in there between the hole and the gas tank so going from top gets it past them into place without a problem. Patients helps to lol. Thanks again TorkLift and Etrailer for another great product!!
All i can say the equipment is well bui lt
Nicole at etrailer was sharp and the products - 5 stars for her
The Torklift instruction pictures are poor - look like they have been copied 100 times.
Front brackets were fairly straight forward - but had to remove a skid plate and loosen the fuel tank to install the drivers side.
Rear brackets needed to drill holes. T L should provide a drill template.
Haven’t used with the camper yet.
Etrailer delivery was great. The torklift product F2011 on my 2010 F250 went along very easy, for a mildly experienced homeowner. One issue on the product. The 5/8 Hook Brackets that attach the device to the frame. I needed to use a metal file at a weld point so the 1/2 inch bolt would pass through. Torklift quality control really should have caught this issue. No big deal to correct with a metal file. May have held me up 5 minutes. Another issue with the product I found several pinpoint areas on the standard bent inserts that if left would break the skin. A tap with a wrench which was handy knocked them down. Just a finish issue. Looking forward to my Truck Camper in a couple of months when my custom built will be complete. On the bright side of the Torklift F2011 it went on with none of the problems seen on youtube. No fishing for bolts. Maybe it is just the 2010 Ford F250 build that fit well but made all the difference.
TLF2011 fit my 1999 f-250 SD. Solid made steel. Bolts to frame for the most secure camper tie down available. Search UTube videos are best way to get in that one bugger of a bolt! Suggest getting the spring tension devices to prevent ripping out camper attachment points if camper sways suddenly due to uneven road or strong wind.
Great product. Install was pretty easy. The only snag was trying to tighten the nut on the bolt that you use the fish wire for on the front driver side. There's no way to hold the head of the bolt while you're tightening the nut so I used a pry bar between the frame and the receiver plate to create tension on the bolt and hold it while I tightened the nut. Also, remember to disengage your parking break before installing the front driver side so that the cable is loose.
Excellent product.
Excellent customer service!
all questions i asked were answered very well.the camper torklift tie downs were all as described and no holes had to be drilled, easy to install. very helpful staff.
This is a great product for some. The YouTube installation video is somewhat misleading. The driver's side bracket mounting using the wire lead does not go as easily as depicted and in my case not at all (2002 Ford F350) because of brake lines. I would give the passenger side 5 stars and the driver side installation one star.
The etrailer people were great and shipped as promised.
Worked perfectly! Just as advertised. Great product!
I just finished the install. Video on the website is much better than instructions with package. I am picking up my camper tomorrow, and fortunately I had a day to install prior to. The kit did not come with the 1"×2" spacers. Luckily I have a garage of sorts and was able to fabricate them.
For quality, I give 5 stars. For packaging and instructions I give 1 star.
The material and craftsmanship on these tiedowns is second to none. The fit and installation was a breeze.
