Get the safest and most comfortable ride while hauling your camper with tie-downs that mount on the frame of your pickup. Great for your truck's looks: remove the arms from the brackets and you'll hardly know that the brackets are there.
Features:
If you're looking for the best tie-downs for your camper, frame-mounted is the way to go. The frame is the most solid part of your entire vehicle, so it just makes sense to attach your camper to something that's not going to warp, bend, or twist. Even more importantly, the camper's center of gravity will sit lower and its weight will be spread across the entire bed. This avoids a top-heavy load perched on top of your bed rails that's liable to sway and get pushed around by crosswinds. The camper's not going to shift or slide around while you drive; it's going to stay put, and your truck is going to handle just like it does without a camper.
Quick Tip: If you have a plastic or spray-in bed liner, it's important that you use a rubber mat under the camper to eliminate any sliding or bouncing.
Frame-mounted tie-downs are also a great pick for preserving your truck's good looks. The brackets install on the frame, tucked nearly flush with the underside of the vehicle. Remove the arms from the brackets when you're not hauling your camper, and the brackets will be barely visible.
Completely custom to your vehicle, the tie-downs attach to exisiting holes in your frame so that there's little to no drilling and no need for any modifications. Because they're custom, you'll want to use our in-house application guide to make sure you get the exact right model. The tie-downs you need might be different depending on what type of hitch or other accessories you have.
Once the tie-downs are installed, use a set of turnbuckles (sold separately) to secure the camper to the tie-downs. The shank on each arm has 2 pin holes so you can choose how far out they extend, that way the turnbuckles can reach the anchors on your camper without making contact with your truck. Tighten the turnbuckles to the correct level of tension (not too tight!).
Make sure the anchor points are offset from the tie-downs instead of lined up with them so that they will hold your camper from multiple angles. This is important for keeping your camper from shifting. Two holes in the attachment plate of the tie-downs let you find the best angle for you camper anchors.

Product Review: F2016, 2012 Ford F250 extended cab 8' bed
I really like the Torklift front tiedowns. I didn't feel I had the skill to fab the front tiedowns. The rear however, are rather simple. 2 1/2" 1/4" wall square pipe slips inside the factory hitch receiver. I used 27" lengths. The factory Ford hitch receiver curves towards the rear axle. Drilled and tapped thru receiver and pipe to hold it. Happy with the quick service from etrailer.com!
Great quality product. Arrived on time. Drivers side took a little longer because of fuel tank skid plate removal. Overall very sanitary application.
Once installed, these tie-downs make securing my TC a breeze. I leave them in between trips too because they provide an excellent step up into the bed of the truck when TC is off duty. Highly recommend!
These are the front Torklift tie-downs. I installed these on a Ford 2015 F-350 DRW 4x4 Extended Cab. They fit and work great and were strait forward to install, the instructions are good and the videos help. As with all these kinds of builds, it better when you read through he whole thing and think about where all the parts go before even starting, helps to frame a picture of what the end product will look like and what challenges you will have along the way. I like all these Torklift products, I've used them since the late 90s. Good luck
These front tie-downs are great . Easy to install on my 2015 F350Dual cab dually with an 8 ft. box. No holes to drill, just relocate the emergency brake cable. The whole process took about an hour, and was done on my side yard lying on the grass . The price was right and the shipping was fast. E-Trailer has always been able to meet my needs.
Product was delivered as expected and installed according to the instructions. No issues.
Deliver time was right on schedule. The 2 packages arrived undamaged. The printed instructions are a bit difficult to understand but once uou get under the truck and lay it all out, it makes perfect sense. 1 man job and very easy on my 2013 f350 SRW 8ft bed with a factory hitch. Can't wait to hook up a northern lite to these brackets and hit the road next summer.
Excellent product, exactly as advertis ed.
Quality Product, Installation was fairly easy, I'd say about a 60 minute job. Read the instructions carefully and watch a few "youtube" videos to get an idea of how they bolt up. Nice not to have to drill any holes and all fastening hardware was high quality.
Tip - I drove up on oil changing ramps placed at the front and back tires on the side of the truck I was working on, this gave me about 8 - 10 more inches clearance.
We were very happy to receive and install this product. Etrailer was extremely helpful in providing instructions via email that enabled us to install this product successfully. The product arrived in a timely manner and was relatively easy to install and use. When there was no place to mount one of the pieces unde our 2015 truck their reps provided an easy alternative solution by phone. Great way to go!
I mounted the passenger side with no issues at all on my F350. The driver's side needed to drop the fuel tank cover so I had my mechanic do it. Holds my truck camper down nice!
Really easy to install once I figured it all out. The pictures helped. Hardest part was dropping the gas tank cover. The rear section took less than 1/2 hour. Maybe 2 hours for the front. I'm 71 so im a little slow crawling around under the truck. So far so good.
This is a great product. I previously owned this hardware for a 2002 F250 and it was an easy installation. Since I just received my new equipment for my 2015 F350 , I have not attempted to install yet. However. I have stated looking through all the parts and the intruction booklet. It's poorly designed to help the non professional installer. Instructions are not very clear and even though though there's an inventory of parts, it would be helpful to have more info on which parts go where rather than just a description. I have found an install but it's not that great. So, I will wade through it and hopefully figure it out. It's just that the instruction for the L & R front are not great. Rear us easy.
The only way to secure your pickup camp er
Product is good and solid. It was easy to install but the instructions were terrible. They started very vague and had different “versions” mixed in with no real explanation as to what’s going on. The picture references didn’t match up to the pictures. The whole thing could use some updating. Product 5 stars Instructions 1 star
Just received my 2nd set of Torklift tie Downs and, as usual, etrailer delivered my order on time and in good shape. The Torklifts are top of the line in truck camper tie downs and etrailer is my go-to source for EVERYTHING truck and trailer related. Some have told me that this part or that part is cheaper on other sites, but I appreciate being able to repeatedly go to etrailer knowing that their products are top quality at very competitive prices. With such consistency, why shop anywhere else?
These were easy to install and they are out of the way when not in use. The construction is heavy duty and hold the camper in place. Also the stickers that are provided help to know which tie down goes where.
The tie-downs were relatively easy to install and work great, I would recommend them. They were for a slide in camper it worked great.
Installed Torklift before I got the camper, great product, perfect fit. I did not consider any other product.
Excellent service! etrailer usually has the product in stock that we are looking for and at a competitive price. And quick shipping!
Torklift is the best. Buy them now.
Works great. Easy to install for someone with mechanical ability, complete and easy to fallow instructions. Put them on my 2016 F250SD with a long box. Keeps my camper very stable.
Item seems okay, but their directions are pathetic which made installation very difficult.
Really well built equipment. Well finished, powder coated. Fast shipping, I have always been impressed with this company. Have done a lot of business with them over the years.
Great product
