Excellent product. Good customer service. I will always use tork lift products from now on.
etrailer is an excellent vendor as well.
I upgraded from happy jack camper tie downs. I like the aluminum talon tork lifts for their easy installation, zero corrosion liability, and unimposing appearance when not in use.

Easiest installation available. These fit perfect and attach just as instructed. The only issue you may have to watch is that on some truck frames, mine being one of them, Ford covers one of the holes with a black sticker that states, "No Mounting Bracket". In my case, the writing on this sticker was covered by a film of road grime and I had problems even finding the hole to dry fit the bracket until I cleaned off the frame with solvent. The actually TorkLift kit fits the frame perfectly though. The passenger rear bracket is very close to the exhaust pipe so when diesel particulate filter regeneration cycle begins, it will melt the label off the bracket but does not appear the even burn the paint on it so should still be OK, just be aware when unhooking the tie down from the bracket as it could be very hot.

Installed on a 2016 RAM 3500. No issues. These installed very easily but you'll probably want to use an air-impact gun to get the hitch/bumper bolts loosened.

Review from a similar Talon Rear in Camper Tie-Downs

The Talons and the fast guns are awesome products, fit and installation was very easy. The products have held up very well and will for a long time. The extra money spent for this set up was very worth it. It takes no time at all to secure the camper down and the fast guns have never needed adjustment after initial set up. ETRAILER was great to work with and followed up after sale. Products shipped quick and were in stock. They also had lots of information posted on YouTube to ease installation. Great company, great products by Torklift!

Review from a similar Talon Rear in Camper Tie-Downs

Torklift frame mounted tie downs are a great product. The rear ones are easy to install. The front require a bit more skill and an extra set of hands. It’s a bit nerve wracking thinking you might loose the bolts into the frame! I upgraded my truck from an F150 to an F250. Because the brackets aren’t transferable, I had to get a new set and install them on my F250. I was glad I had the experience with the previous brackets on the F150 because the ones for the F250 are a bit heavier and more challenging to install. But I was able to do it with an extra set of hands to hold the brackets on to the frame. The fact that I went with the same Torklift system is a testament to the product. If you can afford aluminum, they’re beautiful and light. But once everything is in place, there’s no functional difference.
etrailer has great installation videos for the F150, but not the F250. I wish they had install videos for the F250 because it’s a bit more challenging, requiring an impact driver to loosen the nut on the driver side leaf spring.

Excellent buying experience. The tie downs were shipped promptly and received on schedule. They were installed within an hour with no surprises on my 2016 f150 longbed. Looking forward to their use.

Review from a similar Talon Rear in Camper Tie-Downs

It's a little tricky feeding the bolts through the frame (almost lost one, but a little tape on the bolt/spring helped), but a great product otherwise. The mounting scheme for my Chevy 2500 HD is strong and ingeniously designed. No drilling or welding. The aluminum won't rust like other tie-downs mounted to the frame. It was well worth the extra money to get the aluminum version of this product.

Review from a similar Talon Rear in Camper Tie-Downs

I recently purchased and installed TorkLift Talon rear tie-downs for my 2016 Ford F150supercab 8ft box. Installation was very easy with well explained directions. Product is excellent quality and will last the life of my truck. I only wish the front tie-down application was available, I would buy it in a heart beat. I will continue to check to see if front application becomes available.

Review from a similar Talon Rear in Camper Tie-Downs

I bought the Torklift camper tie downs for my new 2017 Ram 3500 dually. I haul a Lance 850 slide in truck camper. They came today and I installed them in about 4 hours. (I work slow) I bought the Aluminum ones so I don't have to worry about any rust. They look great and like the Torklift that was on my old truck I am sure they will give me great service.

  • What Size are the Inner and Outer Tubes and Wall Thickness of TorkLift Camper Tie Downs
The TorkLift camper tie downs you referenced, # TLF2011 and # TLF3001 will have an outer assembly and an inner assembly. Tie down # TLF3001A will too but it has aluminum components. The measurements will be the same for all of these. I pulled # TLF2011 to take the measurements. The inner tube is smaller, 1-1/2 inches square with a wall thickness of 3/16 of an inch. The part of the inner tube that you tie the camper off to is 1/4 inch thick. The outer tube is larger at 2 inches square...

  • Rear Torklift Truck Bed Camper Tie Downs for 2001 Ford F350 With Factory Hitch
    Although the # TLT3303 tie-downs aren't a fit for your 2001 Ford F350, we do have a rear tie down fit that's compatible with a factory hitch. For a steel tie-down, use # TLF3001 or # TLF3001A for an aluminum/stainless tie down.

  • TorkLift Camper Tie-Down Compatibility With A 2015 Ford F-250 Super Duty
The TorkLift Talon Custom Frame-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs # TLF3001A was designed for Fords up to 2004. It has different bends to compensate for components under the truck. It will work in place of the TorkLift Custom Frame mounted Camper Tie-Downs # TLF3006 but will look a little wonky because it will be at a different angle and will cut out some clearance on each side.

  • Will the TorkLift Talon Camper Tie-Downs Fit 2016 Ford F-250 with 8 Foot Bed and Factory Hitch
Yes, the TorkLift Talon Custom Frame-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs # TLF2016A (for the front) and # TLF3001A (for the rear) are confirmed to fit the 2016 Ford F-250 Super Duty, 8 foot bed, with factory hitch installed, as long as there is no board or step underneath the truck bed. The factory receiver hitch needs to have an open-ended crosstube to be compatible with these tie-downs. The installation instructions for each set of camper tie-downs is linked to this page for you.

I have included the link to all of the camper tie-downs that are available for the 1999 F-250. From there you can choose your vehicle style and your options will be displayed. • Choosing Between Frame Mount and Universal Camper Tie-Downs for Ford F-350
The primary advantage of frame-mounted camper tie-downs like the TorkLift # TLF2012A and # TLF3001A, which are designed to fit your Ford F-350 if it has the 6-3/4 foot bed without a step/board underneath and a factory hitch, is the stability they provide. Because they mount to the vehicle's steel frame, which is simply a much stronger attachment point than the truck bed, it offers a stronger and more secure connection. With that being said, you can certainly use clamp on tie-downs like...

Thank you for providing all of that information about your 2016 Ford F-350. For your model with the long bed, no steps or boards, and the factory trailer hitch there are 2 options. First for steel tie-downs I recommend # TLF2016 for the front and # TLF3006. These tie-downs were designed to fit your specific truck configuration.
