Evangeline: Hi, it's Evangeline from etrailer.com. And today we're looking at the Goal Zero Crush Light Solar Lantern here at etrailer. Now these are great lights because they are very portable. They're very versatile. You can put them in different positions and use them for different situations. We have two versions here, one with three different light intensities and one with the same light intensities and colors.
So these are great lamps and great lanterns to add to your additional lights just for something extra. So let's start by taking a look at the features. As you can see, it's very easy to detach the handle and reattach. And this is designed this way so that you can attach it to your tent poles, your walking stick, really the options are endless. It also has this construction here so that you can move it around. This is made of silicone and it's water resistant.
So IPX for water resistant so you can leave it outside as well and not have to worry about it getting wet. So in this position, I like it here so that it has a wider angle of light. And with this way it's more pointed. You can also have it lying upside down for a nice effect on tables or on the ground. You can even squish it down all the way.
So it becomes a flat disc of light. And in this position, you can actually fit into your jacket pocket, into pockets in your car. It's very nice, very easy to store. So it's highest setting, it has 60 lumens of light. So this is highest setting right now. And you just click through to get and access the other settings or intensities.
It also has a candle light settings, so if you hold it for two seconds, it simulates a flickering candle, which is very pretty. So let's see how it looks like in other settings. So here's a look inside our RV just to see what the light looks like inside an enclosed space like this. So we have it here on our highest setting and you can see how it bounces off the walls. You can have it held against there as well here. It's pretty nice light here inside. Here's on the medium and here it is on our low light. So I would use this if maybe I was traveling with my family and my kid wanted a nice little night light during the night. This looks pretty good here inside our RV.So if you have the Crush Light Chroma version, it comes in six different colors. So you have to double-click it to access the colors. So you have blue, you have dark blue, you have pink, red, yellow, or warm, and that's off. It also has this setting here where it just fades through the different colors for a nice relaxing affect. So if you want to charge your lantern, you can charge it by two ways. So first way is over here with a micro USB. You do have this nice little seal here to protect it from low water, but you can charge it there for one. And the second way to charge it is over here by the solar panel at the top. So you just have two options to keep your lantern charged. So as for battery life, at its highest intensity here it will last for three hours. At medium intensity, six hours, and at low intensity 35 hours. So that's a day and a half. And in candlelight mode, which is this one, it can last for three and a half hours. So this lantern is awesome in terms of its functionality for different situations and different possibilities. So it is different intensities. It's great in emergency situations as well. Or if you just need to bring a light out and shine something, this is a great option. It's great for bare bones camping, because you can also hang it up around your tent pole. It's a nice personal light as well if you don't want to disturb whoever you're camping with with your huge, heavy, bright flashlight. It's also awesome in social situations. If you want to have a party, go tailgating, at some midnight barbecue, this is all the different fun colors. There's lots of options with this. It's also nice, I like the way it just flattens down. So in an emergency situation, I know they use this a lot during disaster times in emergency lights. They just have this nice, flat, very lightweight lights. And it's great because you can just store them and use them when you really need that light. This is the light house micro flash. The Crush Light Corolla Solar Lantern with its different colors. The Crush Light Solar Lantern at its highest intensity. The Light House Core. The Light a Life Minis with Shades. So the one on the right has the red shade on.So in terms of ambient lighting, actually these all emit a good amount of light. Surprisingly, even the Light a Light Minis have a really strong beam, but for ambient lighting, you can see how the Light House Core here really spreads out with is 430 lumens, which is definitely the highest amount of lumens of all the lights. So now we're going to see and compare how powerful the beams of each light are. So we have here the Lighthouse Micro. Now we have the Lighthouse Core in its half light directional mode at highest intensity. Now we have the Light the Life Mini, just one of the lamps. This is in medium mode. And this is at its highest intensity. This is the Crush Light Solar Lantern at its highest intensity, at its medium intensity, and at its low intensity. This is the Crush Light Chroma with green, aqua, blue, pink, red, and warm or yellow. So now you can see the difference between the ambient lighting and the beam intensity of the different lights. So the one with the strongest beam intensity was the Lighthouse Micro in its flashlight mode, as well as the Light a Life Mini.So final thoughts about these lights is I really can't say anything bad about them, just because I really like how lightweight they are, how versatile they are, how many different options I can choose and play around with. If there is one thing is that they need to be used as an extra accessory or light to your trip and you still need to bring maybe your big flashlights or your big lanterns to really light up the space for when you need to light your campgrounds scenarios. But as something extra, it's really set the mood and to add some fun to your adventure into your trip, I think they're awesome. So that was a look at the Goal Zero Crush Light Solar Lanterns here at etrailer.com.

Use the sun to power the light of the party. Collapsible solar lantern has light settings. Charges quickly from the USB port or the built-in solar panel.Setup Instructions on package are hard to read due to strange colors of text.
Lamp seems to be just as we hoped a low power light to use in the Van and campsite to read by or for finding stuff in the dark of bags.
