Pro's - Lightweight and fits into the back of my Subaru 2018 Outback. Looks better than the (3) milk crates I had.
Con's - The frame will not stay in place! Poorly constructed but does the job of holding things in place. I may consider super-gluing the frame together.
It's a good idea but not a great execution thereof. Assembly was bothersome and the instructions were okay but not good or great. The size is adjustable lengthwise, which is good. Although the little pop-up buttons in the frame tubes easily pop IN during assembly (thereby shortening the overall unit).
Included hook (as in hook & loop) fasteners make a nice addition and help hold the unit in place on a carpeted floor. I expected better quality.
My wife and I are very senior citizens. We still do our own grocery shopping among
other shopping. We live in West Virginia and the roads here are narrow and very curvy. As a result, when we arrive back at home some of the cargo is a bit scattered in the trunk of the car. The trunk of our car is very deep. The problem we were having was getting at the items that had slid forward. The Hopkins Organizer solved our problem. It fits snugly between the rear wheel wells and holds quite a bit of cargo. Any overflow is stowed between the organizer and the trunk opening giving us more than twice the amount of stowage space. The cargo no longer slides forward. I read the revues before I purchased the item. I had no problem with the assembly, but I have one suggestion. I cut some rug remnants to size to put in the bottom of each compartment. This really stabilized the unit. I imagine that heavy
cardboard would do the trick also. I would recommend this product.
Having just purchased a new GMC Terrain, I wanted something more than just the standard net that came with the vehicle. This product was the perfect addition needed to keep the cargo area organized and things from sliding all over the place.
Easy to assemble, easy move and collapse this is the perfect addition for anyone looking to keep their cargo area organized and free of clutter!
This is pretty good for sure, not the best, but pretty good. Instructions were a bit unclear for me but I got it figured out in less than 10 minutes.
I would like to see two more pieces of velcro strips for the bottom, mine only came with two. I will look into a better way to prevent movement.
Seems pretty easy to use and convert from open to closed as well.

Still holding up just fine for my needs. I am utilizing this for mostly small light items. If you do put something heavier in, it will slide around and pop the bars out of place. I do wish the bars locked into place in all places so the sides wouldn’t slip out.
Perfect Toyota 4 runner fit. Great product. Factory cargo area mat with lip still let everything roll out upon opening hatch; no more now with this product, just plain great!

Still just like new and still used almost daily
Just what we were looking for to keep the bags groceries from sliding around. Easy to assemble and a perfect fit.
This is a great product. Well made and well thought out. It works just like I pictured it would. I love that now grocery bags stay put. I have a Ford Focus and can fit 2 of these in my trunk. Two suggestions: is there a way to make this so the user can divide up the mesh sections differently for each type of use, to have 3, 2 or 1 big mesh container, depending on what is needed; and might a vinyl or material be used other than mesh for the container sections - something that doesn't have holes for things to get caught in.

Hello Patrick,Thanks for checking in again. I still like the product very much and use 1 all the time. I keep meaning to put the other in my trunk as well, since both fit. I guess my feedback remains the same for the most part mesh bags snag on things, but expandability and light weight of them is nice, etc.One additional comment: although easy to set up, the polesrods come out of their holding place very easily when moving around only slightly for repositioning or removing then putting back in the trunk. They seem to stay in place when there are items in the mesh sections though, which is good or the unit would be worthless for what it was designed to do.The cost might be a bit high. If the mesh could be changed to something else still flexible, and the rod issue fixed while keeping the price the same or lowered slightly, I think that would help the marketability of this product.Overall, I think this product is well thought out and serves the purpose designed for at a not-out-of-reach price when considering how long this unit will last after purchase. Virtually indestructible for what it is designed to be used for. I did not and would not return it for the improvement idea reasons listed above.

I have one and it works great as a cargo holder on a four seat golf car. It telescopes width wise to fit the car.
I like the cargo net and have used it many times. It is light and can be slightly broken down to store it. I would have given it 5 stars buy the one issue I have with it is that after assembled it doesn't stay together and can be quite delicate when handling. I would make the suggestion to the manufacturer to make it so the bars snap into place rather than slide so that they remain more secure.
My only beef-
Product did exactly what I expected. Installation was a
snap and so far it is working as advertised. I have a
liner in the area that the organizer fits so I pop riveted
the organizer to the liner to keep it stable.

Item arrived with broken parts. There is no customer service after who knows what time since etrailer.com does not list their hours of operation on the web site or when calling customer service.

I have to admit I'm disappointed in this organizer. I was hoping it was a little bit better quality and not so flimsy. The ends are sturdy plastic pieces, the poles are adequate, but could be better and the netting is just not good quality. I realize I didn't spend a lot on this storage bin organizer, but it could be built a little bit better for the price. The back support poles are just stuck into holes in the end pieces, the adjustment pins are OK for adjustment, but no way to have a good range of adjustment and no way to lock the end of the poles into the side pieces. They slip out real easy and the front pole is just pushed into indents on the face of the end pieces. I'm sure most things to be carried in something like this could use taller bins in it too. My suggestion, pass on this and find something of better quality. There are better built, less expensive alternatives. With that being said, etrailer sent this out quickly in a sturdy package.
I searched the internet for a Cargo Holder that would fit in the back of my SUV and found a few I was intrested in. But most were well over $60.00 and had some mixed reviews about a powerfull smell about half the people complained of, so I happened along etrailer's website and found the HM74113. The price was around $28.00 and I watched the little video on their website. I decided for the price this was just to good NOT to buy.
When I recieved them 3 days later (fast shipping & excellant communication) I started to assemble (no tools necessary) and had one problem with the 2 elastic straps which you slide the metal rods thru. These elastic straps are looped to form a circle and then sewn into place at their ends. As I was sliding the rod thru, the seam broke. My wife got her sewing machine out and re-sewn the seams making them extra strong.
Other than that, I am happy with the Cargo Holder and I am going to Velcro it into my car. (Velcro included with the kit). It will move around on you if you don"t.
I give this 4 stars because of the elastic strap issue. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for an affordable Cargo Holder that really holds alot of stuff.
I thought the directions could've better explained the attachment of the two elastic straps in the front -- it was confusing to me and photographs of the finished assembly didn't show it very well, either, in my opinion. I also thought the cargo organizer would've been sturdier -- the back two poles tend to come out quite easily when you're trying to put it together ... though they seem to stay put, once it's in the vehicle and the plastic edges are braced agains a fixed surface. Additionally, if your storage area isn't exactly rectangular but instead, narrower towards the rear, like mine, you'll need to shorten the front pole (even though instructions are to have all three the same length). At this point, I haven't used the cargo organizer to haul anything (which will be mostly groceries) but I won't be surprised if I end up selling it on Craigslist or giving it to Goodwill. I'm not saying not to buy it, though, as it might just meet your expectations better than it did mine :)
I consider this a good or better product when you take the cost of it into consideration. It is a bit flimsy but once set into place it seems to hold its shape well enough to perform as intended. If there is a draw back, it would be the ability to make small adjustments to its length. You get three lengths. My SUV does not have high unobstructed side wells as picture in the video. Hence the proper length was just a bit off requiring me to force the unit into place. That may be my problem only, your mileage may vary. A couple of extra adjustment holes in the length bars would have worked for me. Assembly appears intimidating at first, but follow the instructions and it will work out.
Works well for organizing, but flimsy. Before one year, small box slid into thin bar and bent/creased it, ruining the organizer. Light duty it could work well, cross bars are weak point.
I have always received great products from E Trailer This product is so cheap and other expletives I am shocked that etrailer is carrying this product.This thing is so bad that I will have to take closer looks at anything I buy from etrailer again. They really dropped the ball on this product

The product itself looks like it will work for my purposes. My husband installed it last night but had trouble with the directions. He is a mister fixit so he usually can figure out most anything just by looking at it but this one was a toughy. He also may put a pin in each pole through the frame so that the item does not twist. Just a suggestion to the manufacturer. We will leave it in the folded back position so as not to stress the elastic. Also to put it in the proper bracket, you should pull the pole up and then over to click into the frame. The bracket will twist when trying to pull the elastic over to the bracket so that is why he would suggest a pin be put in there to prevent that. Also the directions did not tell you anything about the velcro other than it can hold to the carpet. We surmised by the shape that they were to be stuck to the bottom of the outside brackets. Nothing mentioned in the instructions.
Took it apart 3 times to get it together right. The instructions weren't clear enough to understand, then I looked on the box picture to figure out how to put the mesh screen. I used to do automobile accessories when I was a Honda mechanic, but this one stumped me. The organizer seems to be okay though. I have to shorten it a bit more to fit in my Honda CRV. Will need to drill new holes in the 3 adjusting rods.
Easy to put together and install in vehicle. Lightweight so it is easy to move in and out of vehicle for different needs. Three different mesh compartments allow for organizational needs and there is still room behind the unit to place additional items (e.g. lawn chairs, golf clubs, etc.).
Product does what it says. It is adjustable for our Ford Edge and fits perfect. The velcro that it comes with to adhere to the inside rear carpeting is SUPER sticky and really hard to pull up - but that's a good thing! I didn't want this product to fall all over the place when I drove, stopped or accelerated.
So far, this organizer looks good. The width is adjustable and one of the settings perfectly wedges between the wheel wells in my Saab 9-3 wagon. It nicely holds off of my mountain bike gear. The unit is very light, so as they advise, it probably wouldn't be good for lifting out of the car with heavy items.
I don't like posting negitive reviews & rarely do, but I think I should let people know my opinion. This is a cheap pvc & lightweight mesh poorly designed useless item. It won't stay together if you ever do get it assembled be very delicate with it. Save yourself the headache & just don't buy it.
I won't be purchasing anything more from etrailer. Horrible customer service. Selling crap like this is right up there with their customer service though. Good fit!

The Hopkins Vehicle Organizer, that I purchased, continues to remain in constant use and is still working as advertised. Whether for separating groceries, providing a storage solution for winterizing products like fuel for the snow thrower or rock saltice melt, to providing an organized area for emergency items like first aid kit, fire extinguisher, road side signs and flares, this product has provided a perfect use to keep the back storage area of our GMC Terrain clean, organized and safe from clutter, items dangerously sliding around while the vehicle is in motion, or nice looking while not in use. Even a year after use, I would still recommend this product to others!
